Will your swing and mechanics have come so far in three years. It’s so cleaned up and your hips and forearms seem to always be in cadence. It’s beautiful.

I definitely think durability should be added to the Bat Bro Rating Scale going forward. No use dropping $300-400 bucks on a high-performing (non-composite) bat, just for it to break after a few months.

The guy with the glasses that broke the bat absolutely slayed those baseballs its really fun to watch him hit! I didn't notice if you mentioned his name but he can hit really well i would like to see more batting practice with him on again if you ever get a chance. We had an atlas on my high school team and the only problem we had was the barrel was denting in a couple spots but didn't have the dampener break on us

I had an atlas that same thing happened now I have the pwr and haven’t had any problems but I definitely notice the difference in distance and velo.
I’ve alwyas rocked the pwr but kinda want to change it up and go atlas would you recommend?

So @the baseball bat bros I have a cat x and when I look everyone’s looked like such good condition and I keep mine in good condition to but it has so much chipped paint and just doesn’t seem right compared to everyone else’s and was just wondering if I treating it poorly or not

Honestly think the select pwr should be number 1 it’s the best feeling best sounding best durability bat on the expensive market while also putting some insane numbers for a pretty balanced (still slight end load) bat.

The selct power in my opinion is the best bbcore bat on the market. Power, sweet spot, durability. These bats now a days are so expensive!! Select is everything you need in box and more!!!

I just got confirmation to buy a new bat and after this video i have decided on the select pwr, i found a blue 2020 for $170 in decent condition, i was wondering if the 2020 version is the same as thr new one?

all select pwr including the blue on are the exact same. no design changes just a different paint job. as long as your 2020 is in good condition it will perform just like the newest version

While I was shopping for a 1-piece, I specifically looked for the ones that didn't have a vibration damper for exactly this reason. Why complicate the most simple, reliable design? Ended up going Mizuno Hot Metal!
Stringking is also super reliable
The Stringking was on my list, but the 21 Hot Metal was only like $70 on Just Bats! I couldn't pass it up.

4 out of 4 of the atlas bats on our 15u travel team have dents in them. None get use with the crap balls in pitching machines. All are still being used. Most of the dents are (maybe all) toward the handle.

Every ball you hit what do you do with them if you pick them up what is the efficent way of picking them all up?
I’ve broken two select powers so far, one with a dented barrel and another with a caved in end cap. It’s still the goat so I kept getting it but still

I would honestly swing the select pwr I’m pretty light around 120 and still just whip a 33 select around and the sweet spot will really reward you no matter if you miss or barrel

Make the select #2 over the atlas. I’ve been saying the select pwr is the best bbcor bat out right now. I bought a 2023 for myself to play around with and it’s amazing. My son loves it as well and he swings a cat x.
Maaaan I bought a 33 inch AP5 Mariucci and it broke in 5-6 at bats. With 20 swings at a cage before season and now . I’m so angry man. I don’t know what to buy next

Amazing how many players at Rawlings colleges are swinging the new 5150 (the red one) instead of the Icon.
The UVA team, for example, doesn't feature a single Rawlings Icon, from what I've seen in post-season play.
Why aren't elite college players opting for the Icon?

They posted a video recently on the 2023 select vs the new goods go check it out but they said the select is a better gamer and easier too handle with better durability but if you can get used to the heavy swing weight and have money or time to handle returns if it breaks the goods is better as it hits the ball harder and further cheers man

What exactly does it mean when the ball knuckles after hitting it? Perfect contact?
I’m not sure if I’m right but I think it means like a knuckle ball but not sure. A knuckle ball means it has no spin.

I had my select power for 4 months and it broke the connection came loose and went down the handle.
The connection piece is cosmetic the bat should be fine
If it telescoped than that’s obviously an issue but if it’s just the connection piece you’re fine

Wow. Was thinking of buying my D3 college player an Atlas for next season. Currently swings a Stinger Guardian, which he likes a lot.
He needs an alloy bat because of freezing temps in early spring games in the Northeast. The Atlas is now off the list. Too bad.
Don’t take the atlas off the list!!!!! It is one of his most used bats, which is the biggest reason it broke. It has incredible durability honestly. It’s imo the best bat

As the one paying, I have a hard time ponying up for an alloy bat that's prone to breakage. We got burned on a Voodoo One -- knob came off halfway through my son's first season using it.
The Stinger bats my son has been using over the past year seem bomb-proof. They just bang and don't break.

Can you review the Atlas vs the Omaha 517
The only issue there is with the Atlas is that is so hot any pitch that comes up is hittable even sliders, curvs, so it could cause alot of bloopers if you are not very selective on which pitches to hit. Fastballs just gets hit hard.
And durability wauw XD, lets just hope it makes it through the season
My son needs a new bat. I'm looking at a 33-inch 2021 Meta. He outgrew the 32-inch. Any suggestions? I'm down to the 33-inch Meta or the Combat B2. Please advise. Bats have changed since I play D1 87-91.
