The music in this game makes me think of a snowy winter's night.
About 30 Years ago, i exchanged gameboy cartidges on a flight from germany to fuerteventura with an older boy. Just for the flights time. At the end, he gave me the catridge saying i should hold on to it. I once, ONCE made it to stage 4-0. Rewatching this i kind of get why he didnt want it no more. Random things flying at you, fall damage, health heals 1 point... this was 1990s dead souls

It sucks that Rare couldn't even put the existing ones in Rare Replay, since Acclaim owned the IP and those rights got scattered to the four winds after their bankruptcy. :\

@@SabeythangThat's bad, I wish Arc System Works could get the rights to make a 4th game, just like they did with Double Dragon IV 8-Bit NES style.
first boss is faster if you use the lower right platform. Stay there and jump up when it attacks. You never have to move from the platform.
I played only W&W 2.
The other I "played" on TH-cam.
But, was a great serie.
Sad to know we don't get a new game because Akklaim was backrupt.
But when I learn more of RPG Maker, I will try to make a new game

Back when I played this game I always wondered why the guy can jump so high with armor on.
Wizard and Warriors X, just asking, where is Wizard and Warriors the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth part of this series?
It would be more logical to do this:

Wizard and Warriors X - Wizard and Warriors III Fortress of Fear
Wizard and Warriors III - Wizard and Warriors IV Kuros Visions of Power
