i think it would be super interesting to add random foreign words in there to describe certain things that you "dont know the name of in english". but mix it up, so like one word be in russian, another in french, another in japanese, and so on to continue the randomness of the accent.😁

been analyzing this video so much to try to discern why people are getting such different vibes from the accent 😭 the main ones I've seen people point it out as are french and russian so I'm gonna just throw out a bunch of observations for why people might think it's one of those (as someone who has studied both french and russian, coincidentally. not very well though, pls don't expect much from me. also just going to be calling each feature either russian/french, even when they could apply to multiple languages because idk how other languages work:(() - the way she pronounced salon is just the french pronunciation - h dropping, she sometimes doesn't pronounce the h in words (french) - pronouncing "th" as "t," "zh," or something inbetween (both) - the way she pronounces "u" (sometimes) just sounds slavic to me but i could not tell you why, it just does - dropping words, mainly "the," "it," and "is." dropping articles is a slavic thing to me, since those languages don't have them, whereas french has articles for every noun - pronouncing the i (as in "this") as an ee (depends on whether or not it's followed by a y sound, but it generally comes off as russian to me because american "ee" also has a sort of "eey" sound to it? hard to explain idk basically it kust reminds me of "ий") - she sometimes uses the french r, and sometimes just rolls it - replacing w with v (russian, french has w and v) - when she goes to say "recommend" towards the end, the last e is initially pronounced in a french way (and then she corrects it) - the "u" in trust is pronounced like "ah" (russian) and the video ended 🔥 idk how to end comments but yeah there is a combination of stuff that's really just her mashing accent tropes together in a way that sounds semi-believeable but inconsistent (not bad, just interesting)
this reminds me of my last haircut. I live in finland and I got a russian hairdresser. she spoke pretty bad finnish and when I showed her what I wanted she started asking questions with a heavy accent. btw I'm autistic and I have trouble understanding accents even tho I also have an accent when speaking english. but anyway I did NOT understand anything she was saying. when she was done I looked at my hair and thought "WTF". but I said that it was fine😭 it grew out fine but I still remeber that day π^π
definitely! It’s not intentional, but French is the only language aside from English that I have a certain amount of fluency in so it kind of takes over any time im just trying to do a general non-American accent lol
