Can't really fault their presentation- they're such a big brand now it's sort of a separate thing to other indy taprooms. Probably good for the trade in general to have a new flagship location, even if I do think James is a total Bob.
I’ve been in loads of brewdog. This is my least fave. It was busy and too much going on. I just want a pint and relax. The bowling and slide was too much going on but I do see the market and appeal for it
I don’t disagree Greg. I completely get this place isn’t for everyone. It’s not aimed at me. I appreciate the love that appears to have gone into it. And as you say there is obviously a huge appeal and market for it. Wanda loved it. So as you can see. Horses for corses. I prefer the little one in Southampton. And that’s something you’d never hear me say normally 🤣🤣🤣
@@andrewsteer8860 haha true. But compared to regular brewdog this has a lot going on. The smaller ones can have a chilled vibe of the tunes are right and tbf they most are to my tastebuds
Not a fan of that place. Spent 10 minutes walking round amazed by how it was put together. But then bitterly disappointed with the beer line up suprise suprise. Do they have less taps than a standard brewdog bar? My kids enjoy going there, says it all! The Waterloo tap across the road is a much better choice for a quality beer
It is an incredible place no doubt. It's very much a statement of where they are, they are joining the big boys. That's great for them. I'm struggling with brewdog bars they seemed to have narrowed the choice of guest beers in recent years but the food is pretty decent. Its a good place to go for the odd occasions, or when I fancy a pint of candy kittens
The bar in Canary Wharf is decent, they have a good amount of guest beers, which is the only thing you’d go for really
Spot on about the guest beers. And they are a bit lacking at this one sadly.
Not sure i'd even do that, guest beers can be old and are generally overpriced in BD bars.
Cheers for doing the tour i keep meaning to pop in after work but seems a lack of guest beers on
Yep that’s stood out for me here. Very dependent on their own beer range.
Was in the brewdog Dublin last weekend...they done a good job with it
Can’t argue with the quality of the places. If only they put as much love into their beers these days.
@@ScottReviewsThings couldn't agree more ...tried the black heart on draught it'll not topple the big g in my opinion
You know the lost property office is a hidden cocktail bar? Only open in key hours
Bugger.
Is this who ABBA sang about?
It sounds like it's worth singing about
But needs more Guest Beers too

Can’t really disagree with a single word there can I mate. Nailed it.

Surely if you just want a pint to relax any brewdog bar is the THE LAST place you’d go?
@@ScottReviewsThings southamptons is nice with the upstairs bit. I didn’t mind that one

I do get it’s aimed at a specific generation. I was that generation but now I think I’m no longer their audience 🤣
