Chen Long is alwasy humble and plays all his opponents as if he is the underdog and gave 100%. Great player and mentality of a true champion. He was really really good in this match.
i was watching this match live ...errrr ... over at youtube livecast and i was rooting for LCW. But no matter what LCW threw at CL, CL seemed to be able to fend it off. CL was truly untouchable and at his peak from 2015 - 2016 (and maybe 2014 too).
LCW's attack can definitely penetrate CL's defense if he play his top game like when he beat CL and LD in All England. LCW just got nervous and became passive during those WC and Olympics finals which is why CL defeated him.

Even if LEE met LIN in the final, the greatest possibility was to encounter CHEN at semifinal stage, and LIN would mostly have an easy match to defeat AXELSEN (at the time he was not as good as today). Therefore, LIN would have plenty of energy waiting for LEE at the final...
Lcw plays good at start and when leads tries variety shorts not stick to basics so loses points and get nervous when other player leads and lost all the time or most of the times😂😂😂😂😂
Lcw u dont win games by defending, u have a good smash, use that, stop lifting and defending 90 % of the time, chen long was attacking all the time not defending,u have a good defense but most of time u cant defend chen long smashes so why u keep defending simple as that and your faster than chen long, use your brain lcw, u could won the world championship
You honestly think this? LEE was near the end of his career; and do you know what it takes to constantly attack? The answer is energy! Because he knows he didn't have the required energy to play this style, that's the reason he was playing the style in this game. Otherwise, he could have lost the match even faster...
