11:39 puzzle collapsed for me when I identified a single 2 in C1R1B1 after lots of marking after placing a 3 in box 1 found the 138 triple in row 3 pretty early
I liked this one. It's also nice to see a different approach to solving it to learn more things. My favorite part was the 47 pairs. It gave a naked single 1.
I can’t exactly remember how I cracked this, but interestingly it definitely wasn’t with the triple you found. Unfortunately when I go back in to the link it restarts the timer rather than letting me review my solve- I’ve noticed that recently and it’s really irritating- not only on your puzzles, so I think it’s a TH-cam/ SudokuPad thing more generally. A few minutes later…Actually I think it the some geometry in band 1, so the inverse of your triple. Nice for a NYT to make me properly think though, it was a good one!
