Great video. I felt like getting back into MMORPGs again after many years and so I looked up Tera only to find it was taken down years ago. I'm very grateful that some people are still hosting private servers so I can at least experience most of the game again. I hope someone makes a new MMO like Tera in the future, but even then I would be worried that it would be ruined by the common practices of game companies now. Despite this I still have hope.

I was looking some videos about stopkillinggames and one of them mentioned that mmos can be preserved, and that we had examples like tera... my face when I heard that was like "WTF"... I loved that game, and its really sad how companies kill games and dont even try to preserve them or at least give the player means to maintain them.
Was looking up Tera private servers and got here, thanks for the heads up about Starscape. I don't mind playing MMOs solo-ish, would you recommend this server to a player based in EU? How safe is it to install and run this? Good video, thanks!

downloading it right now. i like advantage because its to much grind for me and i dont have the time to play it so hard like in the old days. iim pro increased enchantment chances. the scroll is perfect of course. you didnt grind to lvl 70 in early days? it was so bad. i was there when lvl 70 patch droped. and actually lost braincells hitting fucking mobs for at least 3 days with 15 hours play time or so. lvl 70 scroll is optional why you critisize it i dont get it. what is wrong with ppl XD?
It being a private server I was hoping for the shortened original starting zone, not the new one, (might have been hard to have the new character types and keep the original starting zone so they were probably limited on what they could do) Always preferred the original. I understand them keeping the new one as in you are not reading the quests you can fly through it in about 15 minutes. I just felt the old one (after they shortened it) gave you a bit longer to figure out the basics of the characters before throwing you out into the world. That being said awesome to see this. I know what I am going to do tomorrow. Small Edit, I wonder if it is just people out questing. Because it is a private server, I am guessing questing is done more because you almost felt forced to be max level before Tera closed. So most people playing a private server now might just be enjoying the leveling (even at the expedited pace and the fact you can get the fashion coupons) as there was a lot of nice zones in tera that basically got tossed to the side as people realized you could just BAM farm to max level so people would just jump zone to zone farm BAMs and off to the next zone.
I got Windows 11, I think. It works just fine for me. I did load it up today, and it gave me an error, but after closing it and then reopening it, it loaded up fine
The upgrade system is hell in Black desert, you can't do damage in pvp if you don't do it and you are forced to grind a lot, I hope he mentiond it in the video, but it's a good game and a 1 time purchase.
BDO is mostly p2w garbage. The combat is also pretty janky for most classes. Don't spend much time with it & definitely don't buy anything from the predatory cash shop.
I played privat server for years on diffrent game from world of warcraft to flyff to some games you propably never heard of. had 0 problem so far. so I guess no thanks for you, and when I said years I mean 15year+

Thank you for watching! The ping wasnt the best, it felt laggy a bit during my playtime. I believe there is also an European server to chose from.
what about playerbase? can get party easily for dungs or not?
