    I grew up in Lynch and I know these men. Great guys! I love the history of this coal camp! Thank you for interviewing them.

    God bless all coal miners! All of my kin from Panther, West Virginia worked the mines. They told me they loved going into the mine. With out these fearless men and women America would stop running! America was built on coal. Coal is king!

    Are there any maps that show the different camps? My mom is from Lynch but has passed. I wish I knew where the different camps were. Which ones are completely gone now?

    Lynch my beloved Mom's birthplace.
    Family relocated when Bessemer Steel shutdown. Returning home to Ala. Both parents passed 2yrs apart from TB/black lung. Union Coal Miner Dad was quarantined in a yard tent.
