He and the rest of the band signed my black ¥ shirt in gold marker pen and he suggested using hairspray to make the ink wash-proof. I stroked my shaved head and joked that I don’t use a lot of hairspray; he just looked at me and deadpanned: “Somebody in your life surely does.”
