    Scott is the real deal when you call Bergstrom directly. I love the 6” triple points. Put a set on my wife’s 850 XC this year. No more dragging sleds over to line up to the fuel pumps.

      Hey dude! Thanks for tuning in. Glad you are enjoying the carbides - they really transform the handling of the front end. We have an 850 XC as well - great sled! Cheers, Jesse

    Your so right about what you like,and suspension adjustments have a huge difference in how carbides react to the snow, everyone is so excited to get riding this year! I haven't seen this kind of snowmobile season anticipation like this in quite a few years 😂😂

      I know right?! Everyone picks what is right for them. Having said that.. for a gen4 doo, these 6" triple points are amazing - completely transform the front end handling. And I agree - anticipation is huge, mother nature better not disappoint! Cheers, Jesse

    Scott is awesome- I ran his shims/rubbers on my Polaris a few years ago when he was in the R&D phase and gave him feedback. To this day I can call him whenever and he will tell me the snow conditions in northern WI and the UP where I ride since he’s always up there. Great guy. He lives to snowmobile.

      Definitely a great guy. I spoke with him years ago when I ran Bergs on our CATS. Thanks for watching our channel. Cheers, Mike

    Bought a set of triple points a couple years ago definitely the best carbides I’ve ever used they are expensive but well worth the money and I would buy them again.

      Yep. You get what you pay for and they work well. Thanks for watching the channel. Mike

    How are they with darting are they good or are dual ski runners better still ?

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They work amazingly well no darting. Cheers mike

    They look awesome. Another great carbide is made by Qualipieces in Quebec.My wife is running a 6 in Cobra head on her MXZ TNT and the stock 4 in on the outside 5.7 Pilot skis. Works and handles incredibly well

      Hey Jason! I have heard great things about the Cobra! Glad it's working well for ya. Cheers, Jesse

    Just installed a set of 8" triplepoints
    I've dealt with Clayton personally great guy to deal with let him know what you ha e for skis if you don't know send him a picture and he will identify what you have. Unfortunately he is swamped with orders right now and getting them may take longer since everyone is getting ready. The polaris fiasco really screwed things up for them be patient just remember it is a person on the other end of the line

      @sledaddicz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Clark is a great guy and Bergs are hands down amazing! Everybody is having issues with supply chains...not much we can do except be patient. Cheers, Mike

    Have you ever tried putting the second carbide on the outside of the ski?

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey John! We used to run a dual carbide setup. With the new gen4s, the 6" triple points down the center is more then enough - more then enough bite and light steering. You could add the stock carbide to the outside of the ski but I think it would be too much bite and the steering would be heavier. Cheers, Jesse

    Any idea how they would work on a Backcountry 850 with the DS2 skis? Thanks!

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not too sure, as I haven't tried ds2s. I would call Clark at Bergstrom as he will know for sure. Cheer, Mike

    Have you tried these on the four stroke turbo?

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't get to try them this year on the mach but many guys run them and have had positive things to say about them as well. I run them on my 850 and they are incredible. Mike

    Is the shim kit in this video for the 2022 Ski Doo Pilot X ski?
    Have you done a video of showing the before and after install of the shim kit?
    The difference between stock rubber and Bergstrom rubber.
    Thinking about spending another $400 that’s burning a hole in my pocket. Lol

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question and I didn't show that in this video but it's a good suggestion. We have some new bergs on order, so once they arrive, I can do an install video and show the shimming. Cheers, Mike

      @@sledaddicz I think it be a good video, especially if someone doesn’t exactly know what they do.
      You could show before and after ,

    How is the darting with those ?

      Zero darting with the bergs

    What is the steering effort to turn these?

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Excellent and not that tough to steer. I find them way easier than shaper bars, easier than double carbide setup on inside and outside as well. Cheers, Mike

    Been thinking of installing Woody's Navigator Ski Protectors on my '13 MXZ 600, they supposedly help keep your ski's from wearing out (Pilot ski's apparently have a design flaw with that) and also eliminates darting, which would be really nice on the trail. Check them out.

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they work as well, but the Bergs come with the ski protector as well which is great. Thanks for watching! Cheers, Mike

    Hey Mike,
    How does the bergstrom set up work compared to the snow trackers when it comes to darting and steering effort? Thank you.

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dave, I like both setups but I do find the Bergs better for cornering especially in looser conditions. You won't be disappointed them. I didn't get any darting or notice heavier steering. Thanks for supporting the channel. Feel free to reach out with any other questions. Cheers, Mike
