A brief review and set-up of the Vengo Cairngorm 200 Tent. 1:30 - Connecting the inner tent to the fly 3:45 - Setting up the tent #travel #trekking #walking
Just bought the tent myself. Really struggled with putting it up, but that's mostly down to this being my first ever tent. I actually bent one of the sections of the main tent pole somehow! Hopefully it still works okay... Either way I'm looking forward to giving it a go next week. This video was really helpful for me, thanks for uploading!
@ramsy66 thank you for sharing your experience. Great to hear you bought this tent. I thought the main pole was quite a strong pole, wondering what you did that caused the bend. In any case, I love the tent, specifically how waterproof it is for just 2.1kg. I am probably going to use it in the snow soon.
@@WildTreksAustralia I'm not sure how I bent it honestly. I took the poles to a camping shop for their opinion and they said it'll be absolutely fine. From reading online aluminium poles do seem to bend, but it shouldn't affect their useability :) I'm using the tent for the first time this Tuesday, can't wait! Using it in the snow sounds fun. Will you use a groundsheet for that?
@ramsy66 @ramsy66 sounds good. Yes, I always used ground sheets just to protect the floor a little. However, I don't use the tent specific ground sheet. Just a cheap one from Aliexpress, but it does do the job just fine.

Awesome, much appreciated 🙏
Just brought one will update accordingly lol
Well done, yes let me know what you think about the tent. I have been using it a fair bit lately and love it.
Would you say there's enough room to cook in the vestibule if necessary?
I used it for that purpose, so yes, I do think so.
And how about a weather test?
Hi mate, in this video I used the same tent in rain th-cam.com/video/DbEUVyx27Yo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=QDNY8RSqpggpO0VJ
Shame about the background music, very distracting. Click, clap, click, clap, click, clap...🥱
You're quite right, I reduced the use of background music in my more recent videos.
