Funny how many songs had Steve Lukather play guitar on, with no public credit. Like the lead on this. He is a guitar genius. Look up his guitar contributions...you'd be amazed. Apart from his lead role in TOTO, he has so many other contributions to bands you'd never believe. He's one of the most underrated guitar players on Earth.

As a long time fan of Luke, I can confidently say that although his face does not appear in this video, the closeups of hands on the fretboard during the lead guitar work are of him playing the riffs. I know his signature moves and it would be hard for an actor to emulate him.

Many people are unaware where Percaro brothers, David Hungate etc got a start and went onto become legends known as Toto, with Boz Scaggs. Why isn't Lukather featured in this video other than hands on a guitar. It sometimes seems that bands had their reps protected in the media when utilizing talent outside of their respective bands-- unless, of course, they "CHOSE" to feature them.

John Kovel - Yes, it was definitely Steve Lukather playing lead and rhythm guitars on this track. Steve still is one of the most amazingly underrated lead guitarist I’ve ever heard. He sets this song on fire 🔥. One smoking lead! Gotta love it! He also was using those early hand made custom guitars that were made with Fender Stratocaster necks and bodies, at that time of this recording (just like Mike Landau had here in this video).
