I bought your course on udemy && I just passed my SY0-701 exam tonight !!! Thanks to you and your well detailed explanations !!!! 🫶🏽
Congratulations and celebrate well 🎉
I've gone through many different instructors and Andrew is hands down the best at teaching the actual material in an easy to understand way. Very good teacher.
Thank you very much for this video, I am almost done studying cyber security through Coursera and will be taking my security + exam. Your videos helped me a lot prepare for the SY0-701 exam, thank you!
Scored 48/50. Completed your Security+ Udemy course yesterday, booked my exam for this Friday. Best study help I've found by far. Looking forward to passing
Edit: I passed today! Thanks for helping me get there!
once u completed exam let us know how the questions formatted, are they similar to jason dion practice exams or andrews practice exams
@praneeth.v880 Wouldn't really say either, I only used Andrew's and PM's exams. Yes they follow the same format in general as in multiple choice and PBQ.
@@luchendrix99 let me know once u pass the exam because I scheduled my exam next week
@praneeth.v880 I passed today my friend. Best of luck to you! Keep the study up!
@@luchendrix99 congratulations! can u let me know how many PBQ's u got and all the questions in total combining mcq's and pbq's and are the questions formatted or worded similar to andrew practice questions
thank u so much sir. I am pleased to have successfully passed the SY0-701 exam with the help of your video and Certifiedumps study guide.
did you take the test online? and how much was it? I am getting ready to take it soon, I am almost done with coursera's cyber sec course.
Andrew already helped me pass my A+ and Net +, and I'm now working on Sec+. You have the best method of teaching in my opinion. I don't like a ton of extra material when I'm already drinking from a firehouse. You don't get all adolescent with dumb hats and toys and you're not monotone and dull. You sir are good at what you do and are nailing it. Sincerely, thank you! This guy doesn't get enough mention, pound that like button.
Thanks 👍
What materials did you use to pass? Only his questions videos?
Videos like these are what makes youtube great. Hope your channel grows and more people can recognize the work you do!
can't believe how informative this video is! thank you!!!
I like how he explains all the answers and why one stands out more than the others.
I am now part of the Security + 701 squad, thanks in part to this video!
You’re a great teacher thanks for explaining things so clearly
love it. I hope this sec+ blew up with views.
I truly appreciate your patients in teaching this course. Providing the questions is one thing, actually going over the answers for clarity is an entirely different level of fortitude, if any!
this is very educational even for anyone who is not looking to take a security+ test. In this day and age everyone should have some understanding of this knowledge. you are a great teacher btw
Keep these coming, please. Great video and practice test segment.
Appreciate your work and the way you explain questions and answers!
Andrew you are great teacher. Excellent explanations. Thank you
I absolutely loved your video mate! I am sitting my exam soon and cant wait. Have liked and subscribed to catch what you do in the future. Cheers
Just passed my exam, your videos were incredibly helpful, thanks!
did you take the 701 ? and would you say these questions are similar ?
cuz I've only got 3 wrong out of 24 questions so far
Congratulations
Do i need to know all the acronyms ? How often were acronyms used?
Send the questions bro
I just want to say that I am taking Sec+ SY0-701 (previously held SY0-401) today after extensive prep work. I chose this video as my final hour-long mindset video to get me in the "zone." I'll comment on my results later, but I just wanted to thank you for this style of question-and-answer video. I wish more programs were taught like this.
Passed💯 - A surprising number of the questions in this video / variations of the questions in this video were on my exam.
@@KC-Cyber I am taking mine in two weeks time, I pray and hope I pass it. Its my first Cyber cert and I'm very excited about it.
This video has given me so much hope, these questions are so much easier than other practice tests I've been looking at!
@camkind4377 my thoughts as well. These questions made me feel I would have no problem with the test while others made me think I definitely need more studying
taking mine in the morning - hope to have the same!
Great video, taking the test next week, thank you!
Thank you for this!! Subbed and had to check out the class!
I love the way you're explaining and delivering these questions. I wish you could do a full series with 50 exam questions per topic (for example). I am going along and marking my answers and you're very good at explaining why the other options are not the best answer for the questions. Please give us more of these videos focusing on individual topics of the exam
Absolutely on point explaination, which focuses on breif explanation of the terms mentioned in the question which would be a very important aspect when answering a question in real time.
Andrew is so good with what he does: Teaching!!
Thanks 🙏
Great content. I will be purchasing your courses for my next certification. Your videos have me feeling confident to sit for security+ in a few days
brilliant stuff thank you very good teaching method and video - thanks
Passed my Sec+ exam, with help of your videos and Udemy course. Thank you!
Awesome review of questions. Thank you for creating this content.
took your syo701 course on Udemy a few days before my exam. you have literally have the best in depth explanation. especially your cryptography section 7, I said all that just to say thank you for helping pass my exam today.
Did you take it at home or in person
@@carlosmaldonado7375 At home
Thanks for sharing! I just bought the book, great content.
Enjoying your videos as I study for the exam. 😎👍
Thus video is super helpful. I passed my Google IT certification and now looking to do both network+ and security+ compTIA. Honestly, watching this video made me realize the confidence i have when answering those questions correctly. I'm really looking to get into this industry and if you have any recommendations on any other labs or courses could you please comments which ones. Thank you for this video and I hope other get the opportunity to come across it like I did.
awesome actually hit some things not covered in my courseware thank you!
Appreciate you sir! Currently studying for this exam
Great video. Got my 701 eam booked the end of the month. You havent got another video coming out before then have you? ..
🙏😆
Thank you! This viseo was great. You covered many topics and explained the logic, which was really helpful. I most appreciated that you were concise with each explanation. You covered 50 questions in hr whereas others spend 2-3 on 10-15. Please make more!🎉🎉🎉
44/50 Some work still needs to be done, but am very happy with Andrew teachings
This is a great video, as everything is explained so clearly. I'm currently studying for Security+ 701. I have used a book so far from Amazon, and also gone through Professor Messer's Security+ 701 course here. I will continue to study. Will check back for more content from this channel. Thanks!
Thanks! Your Udemy course, has been instrumental in enhancing my understanding of the subject matter. This particular video has proven exceptionally beneficial in guiding me through the process of discerning the optimal solution when faced with multiple viable answers. I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to apply these insights as I prepare for the SYO-701 examination in the near future.
Thank you for sharing this.
Wonderful content, sir. Thank you.
the best. Thank you!
Excellent!!!
Great video! So much help
thanks for the practice exam! I scored a 44 out of 50 on this one 😁 I recently purchased your course on Udemy too so I am looking forward to more of your lectures to help prepare me for the Security plus exam!
Thanks for this. Good practice questions are hard to come by. Solid 92%, gonna take a few more tests and shoot my shot next week, wish me luck!
What’s especially useful is that you actually explain why the wrong answers are wrong. That helps so much. I only have one question:
In terms of dealing with vulnerabilities in IoT devices, patching is obviously the ideal scenario. But I was under the impression that patch availability was the #1 concern with IoT devices - that being that IoT manufacturers are often not security experts and thus we can’t rely on patches being readily available. And since they use very specialized operating system, it is hard for us to patch the vulnerabilities ourselves. In that case would it not be best to decommission the device and upgrade? Maybe I’m getting this confused with legacy device management?
Andrew, thanks for all the great content. I took your 601 class on Udemy, how different is the 701 from the 601?
I just purchased the Udemy course and it is amazing! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in taking this exam!! Thank you Sir!
Was his course all you need to pass?
Best Best Best 👊👊👊👊🙏💯
Hey Andrew, I really appreciate the help you provide. Taking my Security+ in 13 hours, so I'm cramming!
Hope you aced it!!!
@@fantaboy4530got a 771! Not the best score, but a pass is a pass!
How did you do?
@@chance9333got a 771! So glad to be done with all this dang studying for now. Taking a good long break and then onto CySA+
Can we get another review video like this for 701 great content!!
This is extremely helpful. BUT you said your Amazon package was .99 cents but the only thing I can see on Amazon is $9.99
THAT WAS VERY HELPFUL! THANKS SO MUCH!
You are the GOAT
GOOD STUFF, I only missed one. I take my test friday!
Please come back and let us know how you faired.
watched this a few times the night before my 601 and passed with 770!
Congrats
Watched this last night to help prepare for my exam today and passed. Thank you so much sir for the content and breakdown of each answer.
Are the questions similar or worded similar to the questions that appeared in this video
@@praneeth.v880 Yes worded very similar to the video. As he mentioned, the main difference would be using abbreviations in the answers instead of the full words. Overall, most of my questions were pretty much the same.
@@ryanchang3176 thank you for the information
Thank you
Taking my 601 tomorrow so I’m hoping this 701 guide will help me pass lol
Im about to take the exam on 30th of april 2024, been studying since april 1st 2024 been cramming and i learn fast and i have a military background so i am familiar with cybersecurity awareness. Everything ive been reading and taking practice exams with sybex is good and ive chosen this video for my last 3 day period of advice and mindset. Wish me luck, this is the start of my new life.
How did it go?
@@eddyamador792 passed
Hi, i am going through the video and I noticed some questions that were answered wrong. Like the watering hole attack description. In this attack the attacker infects a legitimate website that the organisation they are targeting uses regularly. I think Spear Phishing would be a more appropriate answer tho phishing isn't exactly that. Same with the impact analysis or the permission for management first. I don't think its as straightforward as it would be better to perform an impact analysis first so you can explain to the senior management the pros and cons.
Scored a 40/50 here - taking the exam on the 22nd!!!! :D
good luck !!
Thank you so much for these questions! Passed the 701 this morning. My only suggestion or type of practice question I'd like to see is knowing what kind of attack happened by looking at logs. 5 or 6 questions were like that for me. Thank you again and God bless
Congrats! How was the pbqs?
@trillamex1316 1st one I had to click on servers and from the logs tell which one was clean , original or infected 2nd one gave scenario I had to pick the type of attack and prevention.
How can you tell the servers that are clean. And does his practice questions close to the exam questions? They look simple. I was using Dions practice questions and they are really difficult questions
@@JamesJrxMMAand was it 77 questions or 90 questions?
@divonharrison2204 honestly I think o got those wrong but I had 77 questions. I'm guessing doing some research on what the logs look like. I know the dictionary version of everything but looking at different IP getting attacked with the same password really connected the dots on a spray attack. I was hoping I could get the attention of these instructors and ask for their help
Awesome!!!!
wow you're great, Andrew! do you also offer CISSP courses? I'll make sure I get them if you do!
Yes we have a live class but a self pace will be available in a few months.
How close to these questions mirror the exam questions? Im half way through the video and am doing really well. Other sample examples have been a lot harder.
I got 39 questions correct out of 50 which is a 78%.
Got 43 questions correct. Taking the exam on the 14th
did u pass?
Question #8 - wouldn't you have to provide an impact analysis before senior management would sign off on a change?
Good question. If senior management doesn't approve, then the time spent conducting a BIA would be wasted. BIA would probably come second & if the impact of disruptions is found to be too large then the change wouldn't be carried out.
Liked and subscribed. Trying to decide if I should purchase the Certmaster bundle on Comptia's website or just yours, or maybe both... I'm starting from almost finishing Google Cybersecurity cert on Coursera, need to pass the exam by 05/20/2024.
I say his ! He goes into full detail for and breaks everything down
I passed the Sec + 601! Thank you🥰
Please what resources did you use?
@@davismoses3005
1. Several online tutorials from beginning to end, took notes.
2. Tons of sample exam questions online and on web sites
3. Practiced answering as many questions as I could in one sitting to prep for that grueling 1.5 hrs and not burn out
4. If you do well with the practice questions that is based on vocabulary and terms and kinda have an idea of the acryonyms, then you will be able to handle the scenario questions. If you know the terms, then you will understand the question, and you will know the answers, or guess right.
I don't have any background and experience, so I had to work extra hard.
Are you taking 601? Lemme know if you need more tips.
I know you know more about this stuff than I do but question 20 I for sure thought it was UAC? I don't see how just having a list of allowed programs is going to keep a user from inadvertently installing an app?
Let’s get it.
I have mine in 1 hour. I am cramming like a demon and hoping for the best 🙏
Updated: I've passed! 🎉
Did you pass?
Hi Andrew , please can you produce Comptia Network+ Practice questions on Udemy, I used your Security+ practice questions on Udemy , I passed on first sitting. Thank you so much.
Congratulations and celebrate well 🎉
Question 9, Purple team, does that comes under the exam objectives ?
Honestly for Q8, it sounds like the proposal alrdy got approved, so I went with D lols
Hi Andrew, I did send you a question on Linkedin and probably Udemy. I purchased your 601 course on Udemy. I did not have the time to take the 601 exam. Am I eligible to get your upgraded material for the Sy0-701 Udemy? Please let me when you have some time. Thanks, Andrew!
question 36 is crazy
How can I buy your study plan? I’m struggling with coming up with a good study schedule?
Any chance your classes would be added to Udemy Business? My school gives access to all classes in there and would love to venture further into your lectures while I'm still enrolled!
Maybe in the future, only Udemy can determine if it could be added to business.
I have a question for Question 11. Didnt the question ask that it was for a symmetric exchange? Im just confused why asymmetric was incorporated. And is Letter D an acceptable answer if ever?
Great tutorial. Is the Amazon Cram supposed to be 99c? It’s showing $9.99
On question 25, what if instead of having IDS we also have the option to use HIDS and IPS. Would IDS still be the best answer?
Question for Question 50. Isn't the question asking for the safety of the data center STAFF meaning the people? Thus it shouldnt be the fire mechanism answer? Or am I wrong?
Where can I do the practice CompTIAsecurity+?
In question 11, why using an asymmetric algorithm is the answer when they want a symmetric encryption solution?
Does anyone know if RAID drives are on the test?
How similar are these questions to the questions on the actual exam?
Only missed two!
Question 42: @57:30 threw me off. It really read like it was active and not passive.
do the practice questions on Udemy have video explanations like this ????
No its text based explanation, which is what you want because video slows your reading speed already taught in tutorial . So you don’t even need it.
i am 16 years of age and im soon to take the Security+ exam is there any other tips that I could use before I take the exam?
Please how do I buy your security plus exams or pay to join your live program. I took online training.
I have the dumps pdf of the current new set of S+ 701.
could I have the PDF S+ 701 for free If I can@@It_Anusharma
45 correct, would you say that these practice questions are close to the real exam?
That's what I want to know!
@@dindin7710His mocks exams often seem to give you the answer in the question, so I wouldn't be so curtain.
#43 I know what MFA stands for. But in the scenario outlined, isn't the organization implementing access control to "sensitive systems & resources" via MFA? In the outlined scenario MFA is the measure determining who garners access to these items. ???? no real good explanation in the video on the discrepancy either.
What’s the name of the trainer ?
Anyone can let me know if these questions were similar to the real test please?
If I scored a 42/50 do you think I am ready to take the exam?👀
