@@fairweathersailors It's great to see Ireland's coast being shown on TH-cam we live in such a beautiful and diverse country! Amazing to see how much the views can change in only a few miles. You definitely do it justice.
Your so right, it's such a beautiful island we live on and lucky to be able to see it from along the coast. We're aware how lucky we are and it nice to share some of what we see with other... Thanks again for sharing the journey with us... 😊
A lovely video, thank you. Very sorry for your loss, but wow what a lovely place you brother lived and worked in. I shall be sailing into Howth myself this August - a lifetime ambition as I visited the harbour so many times with my mum and dad on holidays which can now sadly never happen again. So I may be having a plastic glass pint myself !
Thanks so much for your lovely message. It's so special to honour our loved ones and the memories shared by revisiting the places so precious to us. May Howth be as beautiful and heartfelt experience as it was for us. Enjoy making new memories and you might even get a real glass 😊 Let us know how you get on, fair winds 💚
Just came across this video now Ber & Glen, what a fabulus video. Oh Ber I totally felt your pain bitter sweet, I know. Wishing you many happy days of sailing this year will be looking forward to more videos absoulely beautiful. Was years ago since I was in Howth definely going to put in on my list looks amazing. Take care safe travels. 🥰
Thank you so much for your beautiful heartfelt message, so glad you enjoyed it and that we have inspired you to visit howth again. It's a special place for sure. Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave a comment, we really appreciate it 💚
I know how emotions can catch me out too. Lost my brother too. John lost his dad in 2019 and never fully understood the grief process until he went through it personally. We were still in the yard in marina finishing jobs delayed by lockdown when you were there but 2 weeks later we were in the water and away down to Bantry bay as you'll see on our video series. Howth head fantastic walk.
I remember you mentioned that you lost your brother too 💚 they are definitely close by and only natural to feel the waves of sadness when they are missed. Bantry Bay is a fabulous spot too.
@@fairweathersailors we were down during the fantastic weather & got swimming in Dunboy bay. Bere island where I first learned to sail with Glenanns as a teenager
