I need some help. I own a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire which is basically a Mercedes SLK 320. I wanted to replace my drivers side steering wheel to a Mercedes steering wheel , it is a single stage airbag. . Well I had it all installed and the airbag light came on so to see if there was problems with the airbag I reinstalled the factory steering wheel and airbag well the light is still on. What can be the problem . I have seen so many replace airbags with no issues what can be wrong and how do i get the light to turn off . So again the factory wheel is back on and the light is on . I didn't think having the air bag unhooked for a short time would throw a light code. Is this normal ? I have seen others remove Mercedes airbags and no lights come on did I do something wrong?? I wish you would show a video how to properly remove an airbag on a Chrysler Crossfire or a Mercedes Slk single stage airbag. Mercedes and Chrysler has killed this little car when Mercedes sold to Fiat no one supports the electronics in this car. I also have a transponder problem I lost one of my transponders at night when my key broke open at night on a black road. I found every part but the transponder chip so If I loose the one key I have left I am in big trouble. There is no company that can fix this problem. I wish I knew a way to remove the skreem system. Many of us who own these Crossfires want to skreem with an over kill security system on such an old car that is basically useless and worthless and the values have dropped due to these problems with the no support even the Crossfire forums are full of nasty grouchy nasty old men with bad attitudes. They are only friendly and nice to the women who write in with problems, Guess I should wear a mini skirt to get their help LOLOLOLO !! : ) : ) Thank you for any help you can provide Thank you
