  • Today we replaced the wheel stud on the 93 civic. It was supposed to be a quick video but turned out to be a small project but was a great learning opportunity.

I enjoyed your video. Thank you for taking time to do it. I feel your pain! I'm working on a 2000 Honda CRV AWD. It had 2 studs on the passenger side hub that had bad threads. Apparently Honda in their infinite wisdom did not provide a way to remove and replace the wheel studs without removing the hub.
I even tried grinding a stud on the back side from the head to the threads. Didn't work for me! The angle is too steep to insert the new stud, Attempting to drive it in would only damage the threads on the new stud.
Thank you again to a fellow DIYer!

Thanks for showing what needed to be done properly, great time to replace the wheel bearing if necessary too!

Should this work for a 92 integra?

It is a very similar process, just make sure the replacement part is correct for your car.

Hey bro. So I had to do the same thing but. I am having play hub. Do you think this is normal play or did I mess something up.

The hub should have pretty much no movement at all. If you pressed the hub out to replace the stud it could of damaged the bearing causing the play.
