Great watch James. It has definitely put me in the mood for this weekend. The wall is a god send. Nice rucksack by the way, i like the look of it. Keep the videos coming 👍
James, when is it never windy in the Mournes😊 That turned into a stunning evening☀ with superb views over the rest of the Mournes👍 Cool views from the drone👍 A lovely chilled evening with plenty of time and the mountain all to yourself👍 I like those atmospheric mornings where the cloud is floating about. A cool wee adventure😊
Cheers matey. Yea it was just what I needed. I enjoy them colder moody time of days it give you a feeling of more rugged landscapes. Thanks for watching gerry might see you on the Mountain one day
Hi James, smashing video. Last time I camped in that spot I'd a poor enough sunset but a beautiful sunrise, also got a shot of the night sky with the shelter house illuminated by my head torch. The IKEA tongs are the perfect size and price. 😁
Cheers matey. Yea I thought I was going to get a clear night but clouds came in. Yea them tongs fit nicely into my lunch bag lol. Thanks for watching atb
Great video sir, tried the same for first time run out a few weeks back, didn't quite make it to the top there but motivated again after watching that!
James, regarding the tent pegs. When you are in rocky areas, get yourself Big Sky International tube stakes! Incredible mate. Work perfectly in rocky terrain
Hi, I came to your videos as I considering a Pioneer 2 for myself, as they are a good deal at the moment. However, I seen a couple of negative comments about them from a water proofing point of view and also regarding the inner and outer touching. Have you had any issues? You certainly seem to be using it extensively in your videos. Would you still recommend it as a good tent. I'd primarily be using it for cycle touring and an occasional mountain camp. I'm 65 now and can't be bothered squirming around in these low one man tents, trying to get changed, a 1.5 man tent with generous headroom seems the way to go. Finally, do you use the second entrance much? PS, love your accent and videos (went to uni in Newcastle in the late 70's)
Hi matey. Yea I think the tent is great never had an issue with waterproof side of things but one of the doors does touch the inner when condensation weather comes in . If it's for bike camping you could check the helm 1 it would be more compact and lighter

Lovely looking camp, what time do you usually head up at? Always dead busy when I go up.
Cheers matey. I normally head up in the afternoon. I prefer camping when the weather is colder. Better chance of it being more quiet.
