It’s truly crazy how much recognition Elden Ring is getting. This is definitely the most market hype any FromSoftware game has ever got imo. I could be wrong but it feels that way to me.
I was thinking it was a lot too, but I wonder if it's more to do with us being interested so it seems like there is a lot. We are looking for it after all. It could be a lot in comparison to other games. I don't know.
I just hope people who don't "get it" don't whine about it too much, lots of players who are expecting Skyrim 2 out of it and who may not enjoy Souls games coming into it. Out of curiosity, will Elden Ring be available on GeForce Now? Only have a GTX 1060 and though I am able to play DS3 and Sekiro on it, I'm worried that Elden Ring might be too demanding for it.
1060 will be fine. Maybe not 60 FPS 100% of the time in case the game is not optimized well, but you can always use NIS or FSR (depending if Nvidia or AMD) to decrease native resolution a bit without losing sharpness.

It makes sense one of the last bosses in the game is the Hollow Knight. I don't find him too difficult but he is a really cool fight. You're technically supposed to have Hornet appear near the end so you can get the true ending and fight the Radiance after him. The Hollow Knight can do typical slash attack's and a dash. Sometimes he'll jump and stab his sword into the ground. Watch out for his orange goop that starts coming out of him too. He's somewhat fast and has a really good soundtrack as well. If only we could fight him in his prime to see his full potential. Oh wait you can in the pantheon but that's a discussion for another day. Day 179 : Ch 308 Ch 308 : Ghost Ship, Part 1 After that intense finale I was so insanely happy to see the new fantasy world being shown off alongsode the pirates. They're extremely fun characters. This chaoter does feel like a good return to the crew. Even if Guts isn't there yet. Things around them have become relatively peavefull, Guts group is really characterized by some lighthearted fooling around right now. Ch 309 : Ghost Ship, Part 2 I am somewhat split on the captains design, but it does fit Berserks atmosohere. Kind of a letdown he didn't get anything connecting to his name or story (though he doesn't have much of a story). The way Guts interferes reminds me of the classic introduction scenes he had, and it fits he has another one here it does feel like a good time sonce seeing him in action. However unlike in the first chapter (looked back at it shortly), he's feels far more laid back and approachable. In the first chapter he was a human monster killing people to deal eith some unspevified struggle. Here is a man who stood up to help a shipcrew despite of his heavy injuries. Ch 310 : Ghost Ship, Part 3 Finally a Guts fight again, without much stakes too. Just some big sword clobbering. His fight seems really reassuring and his behaviour seem slike it must've had a really positive impact on the shipcrew. If he'd been as rough and horrific as in Black Swordsman times they might've been thrown off by his cruelty and couldn't have reformed themselves. I also noticed something About Guts cannon-spin. Not only is it just a cool attack. It also is a more safe way of using the cannon, the backlash of a cannon should usually have a really damaging effect. However using it to propel yourself into a spin would leave that danger out of the way to some extend. I'd say this does show how his fighting style isn't as suicidal anymore, but he started doing this in BlackSwordsman, where his style was ectensively suicidal. Onky thing I could say in that direction is that I don't remember as many frontal cannon usages in newer sections as in earlier ones. That concludes the onehundretseventyninth day of rereading Berserk. Actually I wanted to do the next chapter too, but I am too sleepy to think. I have birthday tomorrow... Lock the framerate to 30 at the very least. There are guides on how to do that properly, it's trickier than you think. If your monitor supports 30hz that is the fastest way, create a custom resolution (like 1920x1080@30hz) and use that on exclusive fullscreen mode in the game, then cap the game framerate to 29.9x (experiment with .97 or .99 etc) using rivatuner for perfect frame pacing.

It might have been fake but it is kinda in line with what you would expect from a game nowadays. Maybe thats the minimum for 1080p 60fps on low.

You can always just buy the game on steam and refund if it doesnt work on your machine.
