From my perspective, the only thing more beautiful than Katherina, is the way she renders Schubert's Standchen. I play it on a loop for about a half hour each evening. Very healing during these stressful times.
Her touch is bliss, with peace and calm expressed in her face whilst playing this most beautiful of Schubert’s compositions. Katarina has judged the perfect pace to play Standchen, and her gentle touch is impeccable.

Oh! beautiful Schubert Serenade it is. I would love the comparison which dominate over the odd number and even number. Schubert triplet is so mysterious. I have something on his friction between odd and even. accompaniment is in all ways odd number movement, but first beat in every bar is odd number. especially the 3 rd 8 note in triplet is so so mysterious. (soon be 91yrs.Japanese) occasionally I would love to listen to Isaac Stern with orchestra.sorry strange English.
I wonder what it meant to Schubert and Liszt. It's almost always best that composers and poets do not explain their compositions, but does anyone know if they ever commented on this piece?
What is it about classical music that playing certain notes alongside others seems to unlock human emotions. especially when played with the delicacy that Katherine Treutler brings to her playing. I am moved by her Standchen.😢
