    Who else wants Skoda to launch a more affordable variant of the Slavia with the 1.5 TSI engine? Comment below!

      I'm curious, do you not rate the Automatic gearbox of 1.5 VW twins as a major negative point ? The reliability factor i mean, because while I can afford a 1.5 the reliability of the gearbox has made me book 1.0 topline

      @@edis9869 Hi Edis. The focus was on 1.5 manual for this video although you raise a fair point. The DQ200 on the Slavia is the latest version so perhaps it will do better on the reliability factor.

    Nice, crisp review. Accurate and unbiased.
    Just one point of disagreement, the mileage.
    One needs to learn to drive the 1.5MT to its advantage. Light tap and let it roll works beautifully on a relaxed drive, even within the city. Never floor the accelerator, this engine doesn't need that.
    On a 300km run, which I do often, it regularly returns anywhere between 20 and 21 to a Litre. The best I have got is 22.3.
    Between 12.5 and 13 is typical city mileage. Bumper to bumper jams can of course bring that down to 7-8.

    i really love the looks of slavia. But the way they downgraded their cars is bad...like it used to come with subwoofer and 10inch screen with wireless carplay but now they have 8 inch without wireless which imo is the biggest utility feature. I hope they bring back subwoofer and atleast wireless carplay.

    • @sagar1323
      @sagar1323 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's totally understandable. May be they should have added a couple of comfort oriented features while removing the stuff that you said.

      It was surprising to see Skoda and Volkswagen offer sedans at all, after they publicly announced that they will be focusing on SUVs only in India. We don't expect a hatchback from them at all, but never say never - we guess
