Fantastic wee film. I followed the instructions, got a replacement pump at an incredibly low price (£87) from Ebay and put it in. You're right it was a very inconvenient job. Woo-Hoo it worked!! Thank you so much.

Hi. Thank u for the vídeo. I will ask u something and maybe u can help me. I have my clk hardtop that now dont Open anymore. When I click to up or down seats they go fine but when I click to Open roof the light keeps blinking and I can hear a click that comes from Pump. But nothing happens. There relay on hard top at right harm thats checks if roof is opened or closed. If I Open manual and invert it the roof closes just fine. Where U think thats problem come from? From Pump or from centraline? Thats a lot. Best regards
@@SunsetSlimess The hydraulic system bleed itselfs, you have only to move it many times until you hear the pump have a constant noise.Its on all hydraulic systems.You need not to bleed it like brakesystems.
I have a 2001 clk 430 and the top stopped working half way through the operation. now I have noticed the rear head rests are stuck in the up position. any suggestions on how to fix?

I have the same proble although I do not have a remote trunk opener. Wil it work with the trunk realease button inside the car?

How did you know that it was the pump that needed replacing ? Maybe it could have been low on hydraulic fluid?

I have the same issue with mine right now did you ever figure it out?
It all will work once the pump is fixed or changed is what I've been told.
