Having been a fan of Queen for close to 50 yrs I'm fairly certain Brian May would enjoy this take on his classic.
A worthy rendition of this great song.

These people UNDERSTAND the essence and nature of this classic song. So rare among young people today. That's why they can take it, and go on with it, and take it to places it's never been, even make it a country song. And the song doesn't just survive, it thrives. Spectacular.

People still want to hear what came before, however. It's what inspired them on to other things.
As a lifelong songwriter, I can tell you that there is nothing that makes you happier than having your song recorded and rerecorded and performed in different styles for decades. Nobody is spinning in their grave. If you don't like it, that's OK, but why do you have to be so mean?

Okay, um . . . . Wow! I would not have imagined they had this in them. Very brave song choices and they rocked them. Solid all around. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised as anyone that gets it together enough for Nashville have definitely worked on their craft and honed their skills.

Band Perry are definitely not Pop Rock, although they occasionally cover rock songs. I don’t think they can be put into a single genre since they sing a bit of everything. Some of their pop music is definitely folk oriented while others are more “POP” oriented.

I loved it ! I am a huge Zeppelin fan and when I was younger I thought " how dare anyone do a cover of Zeppelin song ! But as I got older I grew to understand that it was the highest compliment. They were honoring the original, not saying we can do it better.
I play guitar, not especially well but when I play a Zeppelin, Allman Bros or Thin Lizzy song it is just that, a tribute to the artist that did a song that I really love.
