Hi everyone I made an updated version to this song and I’ll be working on a music video for that one here’s the link th-cam.com/video/dsilkFmLXcw/w-d-xo.html
I just noticed a clever detail. You know how every part of the song comes true kind of? Well the first verse goes "he said come wander with me love" but when he repeats it, it's just "come wander with me love" which is what the song said he'd say. So him repeating it was part of the song coming true.
Mary Rachel: *humming* He said Come wander with me love Come wander with me Away from this sad world Come wander with me He came from the sunset he came from the sea He came from my sorrow And can love only me Floyd: Come wander with me love Come wander with me Away from this sad world Come wander with me *humming* Mary Rachel: Oh where is the wanderer Who wandered this way he’s passed off his wondering And will never go away Come wander with me love Come wander with me Away from this sad world Come wander with me He sang of a sweet love Of dreams that would be But I was sworn to another And could never be free The Rayford were brothers 4 men tall and bold And for one I was chosen With my love still untold They heard of the wanderer They heard he loved me You killed Billy Rayford Bespoke unto me Struck him down in his anger ‘Neath an old willow tree By the lake where our love dwelled ‘Neath an old willow tree You killed Billy Rayford ‘Neath an old willow tree They sought out their brother And found him alone They wept by the lake side For a boy hardly grown They wept by the lake side And vowed he must die The wandering stranger *humming*
I was literally listening to this song because i first heard is on an AIR album called oh light I tripped out when it was echoing cuz people at my work where watching that show it was to weird of a synchronicity and this is a song i autisticly stim to on repeat
In 2014 watching this episode put me into a depression that kept me from going on my planned vacation with my father. He died that week. Tonight, ten years later, was the first time I've heard it since. It almost drove me to suicide.

This song is a masterpiece. I love this twilight zone episode. Bonnie Beecher’s voice is angelic and haunting at the same time.
Beautiful voice, haunting song

Well...that was the whole point of the song and the storyline.
I love this episode and song! It's a beautiful and yet eerie song.
Thank you for your soulful ear in music miss. Beecher must not be forgotten
Was obsessed with this song 30 years ago. The Twilight Zone
I love the background sounds, makes it even more like a story being told 💖
Mary Rachel:
*humming*
He said
Come wander with me love
Come wander with me
Away from this sad world
Come wander with me
He came from the sunset
he came from the sea
He came from my sorrow
And can love only me
Floyd: Come wander with me love
Come wander with me
Away from this sad world
Come wander with me
*humming*
Mary Rachel:
Oh where is the wanderer
Who wandered this way
he’s passed off his wondering
And will never go away
Come wander with me love
Come wander with me
Away from this sad world
Come wander with me
He sang of a sweet love
Of dreams that would be
But I was sworn to another
And could never be free
The Rayford were brothers
4 men tall and bold
And for one I was chosen
With my love still untold
They heard of the wanderer
They heard he loved me
You killed Billy Rayford
Bespoke unto me
Struck him down in his anger
‘Neath an old willow tree
By the lake where our love dwelled
‘Neath an old willow tree
You killed Billy Rayford
‘Neath an old willow tree
They sought out their brother
And found him alone
They wept by the lake side
For a boy hardly grown
They wept by the lake side
And vowed he must die
The wandering stranger
*humming*
NICE JOB!!

I was literally listening to this song because i first heard is on an AIR album called oh light I tripped out when it was echoing cuz people at my work where watching that show it was to weird of a synchronicity and this is a song i autisticly stim to on repeat
When she sings "you killed Billy Rayford" the hair on the back of my neck stood straight up 😇
The male singing is Gary Crosby, Bing Crosby's son...
HAUNTING....

Why does this song have such a strong affect on you?
@@EnzoPepsiCola I suffer from depression
YOU KILLED BILLY RAYFORD
Yeah, but Billy pointed a shotgun at Floyd and planned to take Floyd to his brothers who would've probably killed Floyd, so that was self-defense.
