I tell you, John, I wish I had the patience you have to build these models. I don't, so I just sit back with a cup of coffee and enjoy watching you build. Take care, my friend, and I'll see you on your next video.
Hello John, Thanks for sharing this video. We can't wait for your building process of Sopwith Camel. We would love to share this video on our social media, of course, only if you want. Regards.
Wish model makers around the world would realize what a GREAT scale 1/16 is. Anything for RC works in 1/16. FAC navy ships down to tanks or even a jeep. Get some pilot/crew figures in this scale and RC working diarrama's can be made!
Hi John, I am considering buying this kit, but I have little to no experience in building these models. I understand this is a kit for experienced modellers, but I love the final product and was actually going to give it a try :) Are you planning to film further tutorial videos on this model?
Hi John, . I love(d) making balsa build model airplanes. One of them was the Sopwith Camel 16# of the Vintage Model Company. . Unfortunately due to Brexit is shipping these from UK to the Netherlands extra expensive. So … . I was pleased when I saw your video series of a Sopwith from Artesania Latina. In this build more techniques come together. . But… I struggle finding ( e.g. ) episode #3 etc. . Q1: Could you please create a seperate playlist for the episodes of this Sopwith build ? ( I am sure many others would benefit from this as well ) . Thanks Johan The Netherlands
Hi. I have recently bought this kit and have found your videos incredibly helpful so far (im up to the tailplane part, your vid 7) can you please tell me if you have added any more since vid 8 and if so how can i access them? Many thanks for your help so far in this project
Hi, no I’ve not added any new video to this series, but I’m going to spend feb working on the camel, should be able to make 3 new videos, but they will only be available to channel members at the start , but will be released to the general TH-cam audience later in the year
Hello. I don't mean to sound obtuse, but I cannot find the directions anywhere in the box, I have the kit but need the instructions. What am I missing? Thank you.
@@Johnbuildsiconic Thank you John. When I perform an unboxing the first thing I do is go right for the instructions. I approach it with the meticulousness and concentration of a neurosurgeon. There was no CD there. I'll go to the download. Thank you. Great channel!
is this going to be a series or just a mistake. If it is only for your patreons as you say in the viseos please make it clear if not it only sounds like click bait. 🤔 We have enough of that on TH-cam....
Really fancied one of these until I saw the price which seems a lot for the number of parts. Too much for me (cheapest I could find was 320 pounds) so I will have to make do with watching your build.
thats a great job

I totally agree Gary , alot of model builders work in 1/35 scale but I think you can add so much more detail in 1/16 scale
Very nice John i would say better than a part work.
A lot better Steve

Stupid question coming up! What do i do to subscribe?
To become a member of the channel, there is a join button on the home page of my channel
JOhn, you mention a glue that dries in 5 mins could you tell me what glue that is? Thanks

Hi, the Instructions come on a cd, if the cd is there, you can download the instructions from the website

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Is there no new vids coming John? On either channel?
Hi mate, no I’ve been really busy with my new job, hopefully in the spring I will start uploading again
Is this an old video? Will there be any new vids coming out soon?
Hi mate, There is 6 or 7 more videos in this playlist

This was released back in January 2021, so after 2 years I thought I would release it to the general community, there is more builds in the playlist

I am working on ships to start with but have thought about 3D printing things like this in 1/12th scale: th-cam.com/video/RubF-kQ6h4M/w-d-xo.html
