Something Different The Sequel - Woodpigeon Acrobatics in Pyracantha 13 October 2024

As well as subjects such as Military Bands, the Description of my Channel includes "Garden" and "Wildlife". When opportunities arise, they have to be taken!
Following Woodpigeons eating almost all the berries from my colourful Orange and Red ornamental Pyracantha plants, despite the dangerously sharp thorns (spines), as shown in my earlier video in September, one of them (or it might be more than one - they all look the same!) has now started on the Yellow one, which is even more of a challenge because its branches are very numerous, thin and wispy. These bits of video were filmed through the glass of my windows, and sometimes at awkward angles, so they are not as clear as would be ideal. I haven't divided it up with indexed chapters as it's so short and self-explanatory - the only particular event of note is at 3:59 where a Grey Squirrel comes past. If it had human feelings, I wonder if it's bemused by the performance and thinking "there's got to be an easier way to have a meal", or whether it's thinking of having a go itself.

Mike, the pigeon is eating all the berries!!😃 it knows where it can find a good meal, while the squirrel had no chance and ran away! A lovely video, i like, thankyou. Do you have a channel like Delvin, where posting such different videos? May I try?
