The bolt looks amazing but yes it could be a bit smoother. I recommend spring loading the extractor to make it a little more smooth if you haven’t already

So get a better spring, try to make the AK internals similar to the real internals. I see that the recoil spring is correct it just needs to be stronger to push the bolt back hard enough to lock and catch the next round

Pull trigger -> hammer goes forward -> hits firing pin on bolt -> releases gear lock on bolt -> releases forward-tensioned rubber band -> the bolt gets pulled back by the backward-tensioned rubber band -> the bolt hits the rubber band holder-lock thing as it travels back -> cycle repeats

Or you could try to make a high capacity mechanism or one that is reloadable via magazines
