I think it depends on the quality and position of the player. I would say decisions matter way more for a GK sweeper, CB, DMF as normally when they have the ball they tend to have less technical ability as a winger or AMF or some strikers and a bad pass can lead to an easy goal to opponent. On an AMF, Wing forward or striker normally its about shooting, dribbling past, crossing or passing and it will matter more if they are good in one and bad in the other (e.g. Winger having 16+ crossing and only 10- passing or long shots). If its someone like Ronaldo, even if they make a "bad decision" (make a long shot from normally unlikely place to score) he still has the technical attributes to pull it off.

Have you thought about taking the transfer embargo off a couple of years before the players really fall off? Gives clubs a chance to rebuild while still having a squad and be able to attract decent players based on reputation of playing on the EPL. Could've had a chance to stay up if they signed players the season after finishing 15th.

I have considered that, and many have requested it. Part of my reluctance to do it that way is I like to see how far a team will fall, as it varies depending on the attribute. I think that is partially part of the power of the attribute, not just the trophies and success, the lack of failure as well. I dare say I will mix things up in the future as I try to put different spins on ideas to keep the content as fresh as possible

You should freeze their attributes to stop the decision making growing to check it as a 1 all the way through :)
Yeah, it's an idea and one I did a lot on the last FM. The problem is it's Freeze ALL attributes or none, you can't freeze just one sadly. So I'd need to make them a reasonable level of player in order to potentially compete for trophies. I have been doing it this way this year because I want to see how fast certain attributes can grow, or not as the case is sometimes.

@@jayhuahua Not badly broken. Yes it was the famous 5th metatarsal.
It’s so much better now. I’m actually able to walk on it but it is definitely not 100%. I’ve hit a point where I feel I don’t need the walking boot but I have to wear it for at least 3 weeks to protect it.
I should get it off at the end of the week, and I should be able to compete in sports day at school 🎉! Gotta break the relay race record again! 🤣

Physical rules, man. Never expect a Decision 1 team to win anything, and they go up as freaking champions. This game ... Did expect Decision to go up a lot more over time though.
This game... is the phrase I think I've said more than anything this year, except maybe Ralph

Sadly decisions improved way too much to be able to say anything definitive about it, too bad you can't lock a single attribute.
Personally I'm not a big fan of decisions attribute as I don't think it justifies it's costs in CA.

Would have been interesting if the game had followed real life and refused the heed entry to the football league

@@jayhuahua yeah, weren't allowed in the playoffs as the council own the ground and wouldn't commit to extending the lease, so the football league said if they won the playoffs they would be denied entry so the national league just removed them from the playoffs all together
