Yo but have not been able to smell Carlisle yet. Every time I am at a store the tester is out of juice. I have to order a sample. Layton Exclusif is my personal favourite, it maintains some of the original's characteristic pleasant sweetness while also being quite a bit darker and manlier
Cuba, the fact that you don't have HABDAN in your PDM must haves is such a shame bro, fo real! 🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️ It's one of if not THE most underrated fragrance from PDM (On God) 💯 and I believe most of that is because this was one of the very first frags PDM came out with in 2013 so people tend to forget about this one quite a bit sadly enough. You get that caramel apple that's very subtle but also that saffron really shines with a hint of soft suede with a touch of leather even though leather nor suede isn't one of the notes in this frag. Dark and spicy and that smoky oud really set's this scent apart from many others. If you haven't tried this one yet then do yourself a favor and at least go cop a decant of it but I can promise you that within wearing this in the first 30 minutes you'll be wanting to buy a full bottle of it....guaranteed!🔥 PDM is my favorite niche/designer fragrance house and I own every single one of their frags so I just know by my experience wearing all of them this is by far one of my favorites! This is in my top 4 with PDM and once you try it you'll understand why, bank on it! 💯🔥 Cuba, if you haven't done a review on this PDM masterpiece yet please do us all a favor and get on that asap! Only Parfums de marly I own is Galloway. Had a decant first, so I knew I'd like it when I bought it. But I didn't connect with Layton or Carlisle. And I think the Kalan decant I got was either off, or totally not my fragrance.
Carlisle is my absolute favorite. I would recommend it over anything else from the house, including Layton. Delicious, seductive, and no other fragrance has given me more and more sexual compliments. Pegasus Exclusif, Herod only ones i bought bottles...costco has PE 4.2oz at 249...the PE drydown is nice...did not like the regular version. Want to try Qajan, and Layton Exclusif....and Carlisle. Was not a fan of Layton, Percival, Sedley, Haltane...do not think I tried Althair.

Carlisle opening is the best ever. However, the dry down for me is every synthetic plastic smell. If only the dry down would smell like the opening, it would be #1. Therefore, herod is better than carlisle. If you own herod, carlisle is not worth it.
"Layton" has been a total masterpiece🎯....but feels like its begining to be bastardized to the masses with clones makin it more a excessable recognised scent profile crowning as the new "Aventus" ....PDM "Darley" I think is a sleeper tho
Oya Cubano! Since PDM was sold all thair fragrances have been reformulated beyond mierda! Malparido gonnoreas messed it up. Creed did same crap with Aventus.
Oajan is really good, like a powdery apple w/ cinnamon, but the reformulation is pretty weak in performance, quite sad. Layton Exclusif is one of the best performing, it’s complex as well. I say get Layton Exclusif if had to choose one. The animalic civet note is damn good in it!
PDM just isn’t good. Layton smells like Vicks VapoRub. I’ve owned a few during my stupid “Blind buy” beginning stages. Grabbed them again as samples, hated them and never looked back 😂
