Fantastic list George! I have to say you know I love Grand Soir! Honestly don’t think you can go wrong with PDM pretty much all of the fragrances are real winners! My only add would be Naxos… definitely needs to be in everyone’s collection!

I am still so surprised you never mention your sample business. It’s a big reason why I watch your reviews. I know you own so many fragrances as they are required for your vast catalog of fragrances you offer on your site. A lot of reviewers do a great job but they are limited to fragrances they own in their own personal collection. Your reviews are top notch.

Amazing. Imagination is my all-time favorite “freshie”. Carlisle … mmhhh, so good. And Toni Iommi … so unique. Would you wear Toni Iommi also on a hot summer night?
Imagination is just amazing, so I’m glad you agree! I think depends how hot it is but in the UK summer would be no issue as it’s no usually hot and humid at night

Gotta put it into price perspective as well. For me making videos, I have to think about what people are searching for. If someone searches ’Best Designer Fragrances’ - they don’t want to hear me talking about Louis Vuitton at £250 a bottle - that’s at least my thoughts on it

The only one that isn't for me is Megamare. It was a bit too polarizing for my liking and had to scrub it off...glad it works for you though!

I would love to hear your opinion on Argos - Triumph of Bacchus compared to Carlisle. For me they’re similar but ToB has more fruitless and some freshness that makes it even better to my nose.
I agree on Toni Iommi, I just lack the confidence to wear it outside, but I’m practicing at home 😂
I have just got TOB a few days ago and also recognised the similarities to Carlisle. I will do a comparison video very soon!
First i bought Amber oud exclusif blue which is layton clone. Its was really nice. I never smelled layton before so. I didn't know what layton smells like. I bought layton after the clone. Last week found Carlisle 4.2 for $190 USD. I couldn't resist. Bought it. Its really nice. I get nutmeg more than anything and yes but similar smell to Red tabbaco. Carlisle def smooth and better quality. Red tabbaco performs way better.
I finally got to order Tony Iommi when it came back in stock at my favourite discounter. How many sprays do you use. I have heard from a few different reviewers it’s quite strong. Great vids as always 👍🏻

I would take out Monkey special and Haltane, place Carlisle in the first place and in the list Layton and Initio Side effect

Wow we have really similar taste... I have almost every single fragrance on this list. The only thing that I would say is that Naxos belongs on the list. it is an absolute masterpiece, and also from Xerjoff Renaissance is probably the greatest performing fresh fragrance in existence. Both I would put over Iommi (which I still love and have), but Naxos and Renaissance cover Xerjoff year round for me (and 40 Knots for certain occasions. But except for #9 I own every single one of these. I would probably add Initio Side Effect/Rehab/Blessed Baraka.... but even then their new one Narcotic Delight might very well be the best of the house.
Do you rate Xerjoff Renaissance above LV Imagination all things considered or only for the performance?

Whats your thoughts on Killian Apple Brandy?
It’s a nice scent, boozy with a light apple accord but I think Angels Share is better for the price you pay.
No YSL Tuxedo ?
Im stuck between Oajan and new Althair . Can i have your thoughts on that ? If they are both gourmand which one you chose and why ?!
Personally I prefer Oajan, I actually think it’s one of the best that PDM have released. Althair is really good, but Oajan is richer and more complex for me - and overall I just prefer it
nice list. the best one imo is Megmare by Orto Parisi. it's my all time my favorite fragrance. and it is weird that your gf don't like it! it's what i'd like my loved ones to be wearing, i'd literally eat them oh my god.
You need to try Kutay. You will catch a DUI. whiskey goat.

Hard choice because as you say, they are both amazing. Grand Soir is more formal and Tony Iommi is more for a night out where you want to smell sweet and boozy! I would sample both and see how you like them

But LV is a fashion brand so why is it on this list?
I’m sure I explained it. I don’t put LV or Tom Ford Private Blends on designer lists due to the price and the quality.
The quality of LV fragrances is more in line with expensive niche fragrances than it is designer fragrances.

Finally tried Megamare ans Bergamask, hell nooo the worst synthetic smelling fragrances i ever tried, so synthetic that my nose said f.. that 😂😂😂

How good is the projection and longevity on Angels Share? Its the best thing i’ve ever smelled in my life just dont want to pay so much money for something that others cant smell
It doesn’t project a huge amount, but it’s not that sort of perfume. It’s a great date night scent or cozy scent to wear at home for someone close to you. It’s remarkable and smells so addictive.
Try before you spend this kind of money. Buy a sample and see how it works on your skin

Oud for greatness is an extrait isn’t it? So you’re not necessarily getting more “fragrance” for money since it’s higher concentration than PDMs which are usually EDP concentration
Yes it is an extrait and I know what you mean. What I was trying to say is that Haltane is cheaper and you get 35ml more - which will undoubtedly last longer because Haltane is also a strong fragrance that doesn’t require many sprays. In fact both Haltane and OFG both have 80% alcohol concentration so I believe there is not much difference now

The list contains some of my favors - Baraonda, angels Share, reflection, Carlisle, Grand Soir. I am curious about Haltane but I already adore OFG so I wonder if it would be redundant.
And the Roja seems interesting but I’m having trouble imagining it.
Have you tried Pardon from Nasamatto? I go back and forth between that and Baraonda as as my fav from the house.
Would also be interested to see your take on Lune Feline and Babycat.
Been looking for new content and was glad i stumbled upon this. Any video that has Imagination and Burlington1819 on the same list shows range and also covers both ends be it simple but with quality and deep with transition yet natural smelling. Great list overall

Reflection 45 lasted less than 30 minutes on my skin. I think it's overpriced.
Really? Like actually less than 30 minutes? It’s 45% perfume oils so should definitely last longer. Try spraying on your forearm and don’t smell it all the time - come back to it every 30 mins or so and see how long it lasts

I think Arrakis from Tiziana Terenzi superior to Carlisle and Red Tobacco smoother and better smelling, but maybe not as loud as the other 2 performance wise
I haven’t tried that one yet, however I have just got Triumph of Bacchus which has a similar vibe to Carlisle. I will do a video on it soon
LV is overpriced designer.
I appreciate your opinion and can see how someone would say they are overpriced. Personally, I think the quality of LV is better than almost all designers so I think a higher price is acceptable. Whether or not the RRP is fair is another story, but it’s Louis Vuitton - not going to be cheap unfortunately

best clone of AS is Kismet Angel for sure, its like 90% same scent, unreal price for same scent, payed 40€ for 100ml
