Yo what type of alteration did you get? Cutoff , chain or visible? I’m the same height and didn’t know if I should just wait and take them to my local tailor, or try to get them online before shipping
When they do the alterations do they also taper them or just cuff only? Because the Uniqlo jeans without alteration are tapered a bit. I'm worried if I get them altered they'll be too wide if they don't also alter the taper for the new length

I prefer to just do the online alteration because it’s easier. I think I did the visible (it was free)

Tbh they dont really taper but they still look fine to me
