So amazing to watch you paint. You have so much confidence, and I learn so much from every little step you take. After taking a class in the botanical illustration style, I can see that I prefer your style so much more. Lots more fun, looser, more relaxing, and fun to just see what the paint will do on it’s own. Looking forward to more lessons like this.
I love your delphiniums! I would like to see some of your work framed. You must have some paintings hanging in your home. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Lovely! You make it look so easy but it isn’t! Keep telling myself to enjoy the process & don’t worry too much about the outcome but hard not to feel disappointed when it doesn’t look ‘right’.. But I’ll keep going ! Thank you for your great videos and presentation
Beautiful 😍 flowers. Thank you 😊. I was going to ask you about mixing your paints. I have the same WN paints. I have professional and Cotman paints. I want to know if you have the same problem with the professional as far as mixing colors as I do. It seems like when I mix the professional paints together they don't mix as well as the cotman paints do together? I don't understand why because the professional are supposed to be better than the student grade Cotman? I was hoping you could shed some light on this subject for me? The professional are very pigmented you don't have to use as much but when they are mixed to make a different color I can see the different colors in the mix after I mix them together? Do you happen to know why that is or what I'm doing wrong with the mixing? I'd appreciate your opinion if you will give it to me so I can improve on my mixing. Thank you and have a great day 🌞😎🌴 FLORIDA.
I wonder whether I could reverse the month flowers. I live in the southern hemisphere, so it's winter over here. So for us it would be January's flower for July and July's for January.
Amazing with the vase. I was so upset for you, because I think if you'd applied that gouche more sparingly you'd have got an exact replica of your vase. You can see it happening in that lower third of the vase! It looks lovely in any case. But it does highlight the importance of taking that plunge and experimenting!
Hola!
