Another inspirational tutorial, so simply but effectively explained....My daughter (9 years) and I love you Emma...thanks for getting us completely hooked on watercolours! ♥
I was just watching a review on DS watercolor sticks and one of the viewers mentioned your name to another view about your tips on brushes, so I decided to check out your channel - and I'm glad I did. I absolutely love this tut, I'm a very detailed drawer and painter, so I've always been envious of people who can paint very light and loose images, when all the while my brain screaming- "Detail- I need more detail!!" 😆🤗💗
Beginner here, and I have learned so much from you already in the 2 days I’ve been subscribed to your channel. You are a tremendous artist and superb teacher-thank you so much!
Awesome tutorial! I have been wanting to learn this technique but it just never really looked for the tutorial for lack of using the proper term to find something. I found you pretty quick at the top of the list. I will look for you on Facebook as well.
Love this, just watched a tutorial that came on my feed from someone I am not subscribed too….i have to say Emma yours is petals down lol the easiest and nicest to understand Debbie❤
Thank you for this tutorial. You made it perfectly a lot easier. I tried this before from other tutorial and I thought I was doing something wrong. Technique I was doing was right. Problem is ….I might have overworked it and perhaps… it’s because I wasn’t using artist paper. My question for you is….is cold press preferable compared to hot press? Some uses hot press. Which would be better or easier, if you have tried using hot press? Again thank you.
Thank you sooo much for showing us th ebest way todo this! I"ve only started a few months ago and I looove the translucent paintings. They seemed so out of reach.... truly thankful for you!!
You have such control over your brush. hoping this heavy handed girl can get those precise edges.I learn a lot from you. Thanks for sharing your talent.
I have been following you for some time. Your lessons are always interesting, beautiful and doable for a beginner in this medium, I really loved this video. It was inspiring and a great way to practice and embrace the transparency of watercolor. Thank you. I just bought some watercolor postcards and this lesson is perfect for them!!
Thank you! I have tried to find someone to demonstrate this technique for a while. I admire it on some artist’s feed, but have not been able to find any demonstrations.✨💕
WOW!!! (and I'm a bit scared, as I'm view #6,666 of your transparent video today!) These petals are what croissants are to pastry--flaky, thin and amazing! Great job, Emma. Did you buy yourself a sketchbook? I love working in mine. But these florals are incredible! Frances Turano Denver, CO
I have watched (and tried) A LOT of water colour flower tutorials... this is hands down the best!

Lovely technique. Transparent watercolor ground would eliminate the lifting of a layer underneath.
