Timothy Schultz is also a lottery winner; in 1999, he won the Powerball before going back to college to study film and journalism. I too buy Children’s BC lottery tickets, as support to a good cause, never thinking or caring if I won or not. I spend $6 on lotto max per week, only takes 1 ticket to win.🍾

I actually recently interviewed a Lotto Max winner from Canada and hope to have that video posted shortly! That's great that you also play the B.C. Children's lottery. Never spend more than you can afford to lose, but you absolutely have a chance if you win. And you're right, it only takes 1 ticket! 🙂

For a few weeks now my depression suddenly was exchanged by this feeling of enlightenment of something big is gonna happen. I've been dreaming of winning the lottery and having visions of different numbers. And my intuition is telling me to be persistent in this huge philippine lottery jackpot which as of now is around 270million. I feel in my bones that it is mine and i just have to be persistent.

Outstanding content and concept… a lottery show like yours has been long overdue and perfect for lottery players like me. Just brilliant. We hear about winners all the time, but it is rarely discussed how or why they picked the numbers they did to win it big.
I’ve been playing lotto, lottery, and scratchers since 1988, but I have never won anything over $100, but I did win $250 last year at a Las Vegas casino but wound up giving it back, which is common in the gambling world.
Like the one lady, you interviewed said, I am not lucky at all when it comes to numbers, games of chance, and the lottery; and I too could not win a bar of soap in a raffle, LOL.

Her story kinda shows how money can't fix everything but I think overall that situation would've been even worse if they would've had to struggle for money at the same time

i having buying lottery tickets for over 10 years i keep believing i won the lottery some people see this as bad thing because they believe money will take over any body that wins and that its bad to win but in my state some large of the profits from the sales goes to maintenance of the outdoors and lot of families live out of the employment the lottery provides i am glad to see this video about people been able to proof that its possible to manage wealth and live a good life i know one day i will purchase the winning ticket and use to better my life and others

If I won$2,200,000.00 after taxes I leave for good and build up three small businesses to earn $1million dollars a year from all three of them each and just buy myself a big house in a quiet place to live

Thanks for your comment! It depends how much you win and where you win. In the United States, most jackpots are paid in 5 to 10 business days after bringing in your ticket. Smaller prizes can be paid sooner, oftentimes the same day.

Well I think you can/should be allowed complain if you get a lot of money that way, no matter how you got it. Because yeah, you're losing those relationships or can't really do much with them anymore without paying for them to do the fun things too and that really sucks and is something anyone would need to vent about.
What good is all that money in a sense if you can't share it with people that had mattered to you before you got it. I bet it sucks having to pay every time for hanging out and enjoying things together because I'm sure it gets old having to do it even if you do have the means to, but I think it'd hurt so much losing the relationships otherwise. Definitely a love-hate relationship with the money from that point.
But then where and how do you find other/new friends that have similar finances but wont look down on you/treat you different because you didn't "earn" the money in their POV? Lottery winners are stuck in between a rock and a hard place when it comes to social circles which also makes everything that much harder. Another reason I think that lottery club/support group thing would be epic that I mentioned in another video comment lol. Get on making one Timothy so we can join when it's our turn to win the Mega Millions :P *Edit - But make it cool and nerdy with secret invite only letters and stuff LOL!

Thanks for your empathetic comments and support. I'm extremely grateful for the win, although it did create new challenges socially. It's something I never fathomed prior to it happening. Most of the my close friends stuck with me, but that wasn't the case for everyone. I even had some formerly close family relationships that were ruined. There can be so many things happening with people psychologically; I understand all sides of it now, but I never contemplated that type of thing before the win.
With your question of creating new friendships with other people of a similar place financially, that can be helpful. And yes, there are people that look down upon others that win money rather than earn it. I didn't face that much myself, but I know it exists. Most people I met seemed to be happy and supportive. I was also only 21 years old at the time, so it was very difficult to find anyone remotely close to my age that was in a similar situation, at least in my social circle. Those were strange times!! I could go on and on with an epically long comment, but I'll spare you. I am writing about it though in my book here: bit.ly/38js6zz .

So if you win the Lottery, do you have to pay state taxes or federal taxes, or even both? And what State has the lowest taxes on Lottery winnings?
Before you get the checks they will cut federal taxes and some states they cut taxes and some no depend where do you life , New York is the most high taxes state... any way you will have half of price maybe more ...in end you will get 45 % from your check

It would be nice if IRS would permit tax deductions for raffles, lotteries, etc. charitable donations would really increase.

I really like your channel and the stories you share. Thank you. But I think you should work on your affect a bit. Your tone can be a bit disinterested and almost condescending. When she tried to interject at one point, you spoke louder to get *your* story out - she is the guest. You should defer to her. You show a lot of enthusiasm when speaking about yourself, but trail off a bit when responding to others.
I'm glad you're enjoying the channel and appreciate your support. She's a wonderful guest with a heart-warming story; I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to interview her. Her story is so inspiring and positive.
As for your criticism here, I can say that this was one of my first interviews ever on this channel. My interviews today and within the last year or two are quite different. My goals have always been to learn by each interview and strive to make the best videos possible. And that is what I'm doing.
I also want to emphasize that I'm not putting down, nor diminishing the importance and quality of this interview. I love this interview wholeheartedly. I believe our conversation was very special and unique; I am forever grateful.

@@TimothySchultz yes and build my own mini size mansion with secret passages hidden rooms and have atleast 4 levels to have 8 rooms on each floor also game room a bowling alley an arcade room a indoors swimming pool an out door swimming pool a man cave entertainment room a library and also a big backyard with a BBQ grill and a big front yard with benches and a water fountain made of color Italian marble and more benches in the backyard and a telescope in a private astronomy room to look at the stars every night
