I recognized Mitten-hand! It's Guy Siner. He's most famous for playing Lt. Gruber on the UK comedy from decades ago called *'Allo 'Allo.* He played a homosexual "German" officer during WW2, stationed in Occupied France. He had a blatant crush on a French cafe owner who was fat, ugly, and cross-eyed.... and unknown to Gruber, his crush is a massively respected member of the French Resistance. But he mostly bumbles his way around stopping the plans of the occupying forces.
Leprechaun 3 is the best of the series because it hits every mark in the book of what a comedy/horror film should be, Warwick Davis later said the film was his favourite of the series because he liked the humour in it.
GoodBadFlicks On TH-cam there's a film screening of Leprechaun 3, which was recorded on March 17th 2011. Among the people who attended it were Brian Trenchard-Smith, Caroline Williams and Tom Dugan. Warwick Davis was unable to attend the event, due to work commitments. If you ever do a review of Leprechaun 3, it's a good source to look at.
Much like F13 and ANoES, the third movie really was when Leprechaun managed to hit is stride. They embrace the corniness of the premise and ceased any attempt to be actually scary. But the problem was then they got TOO corny, like taking into space or, ugh, the hood.
You know what, "Saw IN SPACE" would be kind of amazing. There's all sorts of crazy traps you can do with zero gravity and they can do the old "uploaded the evil guy's brain into the computer" trick to bring in Tobin Bell.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH. Yes. Saw in space! That has to be done. We've already got Hellraiser in space.. Then we need paranormal activity in space, which.. might suck since things float around in space. Haha, imagine that. "Oooh, I think I saw that movie.. And what is that brown thing floating there? Is that a turd?" (Nasa joke there) . Well, there is a new Saw movie coming out.. or um.. It's just called Jigsaw, so maybe it will be like "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" where it wasn't a new freddy movie, but instead a slightly meta version of it. But yeah.. Saw in Space... That just.. makes me laugh. We need Freddy in Space too. Jason's been there already.. What else... How about Aliens in the hood, or Predater in wonderland. Thanks, I'm inspired thanks to you! (Not to make a movie, but just creativly sparked)
A doorbell on a spaceship? Now I have heard everything. Great review as always, Cecil. This film is the embodiment of "when the franchise has nowhere else to go, head into outer space".
Technically, Gruber wasn't a nazi, he was Heer, and as a gay character, he'd not be going anywhere near nazis lol The closest thing to nazis in 'Allo 'Allo were the Gestapo characters, who were so dumb and inept.. 'Allo 'Allo is a great piece of classic British comedy.
If I recall correctly, the dance lounge scene had everyone drinking out of brightly colored cups/glasses with the price tag still visible on the bottom of them. I think it's safe to say the $$ went to costume and not set design.
Leprechaun 4 was a lot of fun to watch, to be honest. I found it much more enjoyable to watch than the first movie. Give it a watch or two, it's more than worth it for all the reasons mentioned in this review.
Never saw this or any of the other films before but I did recognize Guy Siner right away, loved him as Grüber n Allo Allo and it was also where I first saw him as well.
that fucking boom mic. the first time i ever watched this movie, i had to straight up pause the dvd and walk away from the tv cause i was laughing so hard
Bro, I've been binge watching your channel for weeks. Love your stuff, and I gotta say, you can have a great attitude for movies other people cant stomach.
Nods to Full Metal Jacket are extra fun because Tim Colceri who played the Sgt was originally cast as drill Sgt Hartman then ended up playing the door gunner when R. Lee replaced him.
What a great documentary! I've seen it twice. As for Trenchard Smith stuff, check out Death Cheaters, Escape 2000, and Dead End Drive In for some good Ozploitation
I have never been a cheer leading type poster, laying on the compliments until they mean nothing. That being said, this is worth making everyone I know watch this. Bravo!
GoodBadFlicks It reminded me of when Robert Englund did not play Freddy in the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street. No offense to Jackie Earl Haley (he's a good actor), but he just wasn't Freddy to me at all, and his voice as Freddy just sounded like he was playing Rorschach again from Watchmen.
The only one of the Leprechaun series that I didn't like was 'in the hood'. The rest was awesome :) Leprechaun in Space is probably the funniest one though. It's such a great movie to watch with some friends. Preferably friends who are new to the franchise. It has a lot of 'wtf' moments, yet is also really fun to look at. Plus, Warwick Davis is just incredible in every movie he's in.
I've heard from many sources in the industry that other than the first two, the Hellraiser sequels were just random horror scrips that were laying around, that had nothing to do with Hellraiser, that had the elements shoehorned in to make them profitable.
know what you mean. that's mostly why I am a fan of this series. 2 has always seemed to be my fav for some reason. I guess it just seems to have the right balance of comedy to horror for me
i just discovered this gem of a channel! It is so awesome to experience the content from a first time experience. This is pure gold and i am making great movie playlists to watch with my buddies. You`re doing a great job and i hope you stick with creating these kind of videos.
I am a masters student in a university and one of the labs actually has a doorbell that plays a little tune... They keep their door locked now because people keep getting in and stealing laptops.
with how old this upload is, it may have been said, but when you bring up the reference to full metal jacket, the sergeant in leprechan was the helicopter gunner in full metal jacket
Nintendo kind of does their own thing. They could make awesome animated versions of their beloved properties but I think they got burned so much in the 80s-90s that they just skip it altogether. (remember the Legend of Zelda cartoon?)
Hi, You should review these funny movies. -Bodycount -Blades -Child of glass -Evil dead -Re animator -Pet sematary -House 1,2 -Brazil -Demolition man Somes series, like The storyteller,Tales from the crypt,Around the Twist... Great job!
MY TO ADD WITH MY OWN OPINION ON THIS MOVIE OF (LEPRECHAUN 4: In SPACE) Despite the small number of flaws to this fourth installment movie chapter; I thought it was a really good movie to have seen, and to add I enjoyed watching it.
Actually Wrong Turn 2 was very good. The reason why there were no commercials for it was because it went direct to DVD. 3 was pretty bad and I'm not sure how 4 is I haven't seen it yet.
3:43 yep every future military ship venturing into space will be required by convention to have an on board Disco Bay...because what's the use of going into space without one?
good review man even though this is my least favorite entry in the series, I can watch it for Warrick Davis alone never noticed those homages before. they make sense now
This is my fav entry too. Way better than the latest one(which sucked balls). I dunno why when i was younger i saw a little clip of it i thought it was Freddy Krueger. The make up and the hazmat suit. Really made me think it was Freddy. After watching all the movies and even that bad(in a good way) tv series. I was frustrated in finding out when did Freddy go to space. Till i saw this. I was kinda disappointed because i really wanted to see Freddy in space. But once i got over that. This became a great movie for me. I love Miguel Nunez. He's a very underrated actor. I think if given the oppertunity he'd make a great lead. I remember he was in a movie called "Juwanna man". It was horrible but he carried it like a champ. I saw that movie multiple times cause of him. Same with Street fighter. I keep looking at DeeJay and what he'd do next. He didn't do anything but the build up man. I keep thinking he'd bust out a power move....and nothing. I say cast him as John Stewart(Not the news anchor but The black Green Lantern...yeah..ironic i know). I think you had a missed opportunity with a Zordon joke for the Dr Mittenhann character. P.S. Is it just me or does Warwick Davis make a great Penguin(if they ever decide to make him the main villain in the next Batman)?
"I'd give you a round of applause but I see you've already got the clap" HAHAHA Great line.
That was my favorite movie of the series... mainly because it was both part of its series and its own satire.
"I'd give you a round of applause but I see you already have the clap"...that is such an AWESOME line!
I recognized Mitten-hand! It's Guy Siner. He's most famous for playing Lt. The Infomaniac I recently went back and watched 3 and enjoyed it way more than I remembered

There once was a man from Madras who's balls were made of fine brass, so in stormy weather they both clang together and sparks flew out of his ass.
Freddy vs Jason was also excellent fan service. They did a great job.
Got that right
Why is it "rejuvenate" instead of "regenerate"?
(4:43) FYI: the Princesses hand doesn't "rejuvenate", it regenerates! BIG difference!
You know what, "Saw IN SPACE" would be kind of amazing. There's all sorts of crazy traps you can do with zero gravity and they can do the old "uploaded the evil guy's brain into the computer" trick to bring in Tobin Bell.
Saw 10: Why the Hell Not?
HAHAHAHAHAHAH. Yes. Saw in space! That has to be done. We've already got Hellraiser in space.. Then we need paranormal activity in space, which.. might suck since things float around in space. Haha, imagine that. "Oooh, I think I saw that movie.. And what is that brown thing floating there? Is that a turd?" (Nasa joke there) . Well, there is a new Saw movie coming out.. or um.. Saw 50: just f**k it, he's in space now
Saw + sci-fi...Cube
jonesey251
I immediately thought of Cube, as well.
A doorbell on a spaceship? Now I have heard everything.
Great review as always, Cecil. This film is the embodiment of "when the franchise has nowhere else to go, head into outer space".
Guy Siner, who plays DR Mittenhand, is best known in the UK for playing a camp nazi officer in a WW2 sitcom Allo Allo in the 1980s.
Lieutenant Gruber in Allo Allo. He fancied Rene.
He was also a minbari in Babylon 5
@@brendan722002 "Rene would you like a ride in my little tank?"
Yeah, Allo Allo and Gruber's crush on Rene.
The saw in space and zeds basement|pulp fiction gag nearly killed me dude!
If I recall correctly, the dance lounge scene had everyone drinking out of brightly colored cups/glasses with the price tag still visible on the bottom of them. I think it's safe to say the $$ went to costume and not set design.
4:20, just how sarcastic, serious, pissed and monotone, you sounded funny ass all hell and I was dying when you said "Wire."
Leprechaun in Space is the Citizen Kane of Space themed horror movies with Leprechauns
Sgt tinfoil head was priceless
I can’t get over how much the guy in the intro spanking a guy looks like Mike Pence.
that fucking boom mic. the first time i ever watched this movie, i had to straight up pause the dvd and walk away from the tv cause i was laughing so hard
Plus who could forget the reference to Dr. Strangelove ending quote.
This movie looks AMAAAAAZING!! XD
The ultra-techy metal folder had me laughing 3:33
3:00 I never knew the Leprechaun was a sith!
4:33 made me laugh till I passed out.
Bro, I've been binge watching your channel for weeks. Love your stuff, and I gotta say, you can have a great attitude for movies other people cant stomach.
I died at the pulp fiction reference
:)
Elias Lopez
Same
the hardest i laughed all day
Nods to Full Metal Jacket are extra fun because Tim Colceri who played the Sgt was originally cast as drill Sgt Hartman then ended up playing the door gunner when R. Lee replaced him.
This is gold. The funniest video that i have seen on this channel so far. The silence of the lambs reference is just glorious :D
As was the Pulp Fiction reference that had me rolling, lmao!!!
I enjoyed the Ricky Gervais series Life's Too Short with Warrick Davis.
The Pulp Fiction sound track was pure gold
What a great documentary! I've seen it twice. As for Trenchard Smith stuff, check out Death Cheaters, Escape 2000, and Dead End Drive In for some good Ozploitation
Warwick Davis is famous enough to get on TOP GEAR. And shhhhhh I love "Willow" too. GBF know's his ( expleteive deleted). Thanks for this review.
I have never been a cheer leading type poster, laying on the compliments until they mean nothing. That being said, this is worth making everyone I know watch this. Bravo!
7:50
THAT'S THE CUTEST DAMN
SPIDER I'VE EVER SEEN
I have a place in my heart for the Leprechaun series.
Me too! They are so much fun.
I just got the DVDs to the series. (I'm still waiting for one of them.) I hope they don't screw-up the remake.
while I'll watch the remake, I just don't see them having the same magic without Warwick Davis. He owns the character every time.
I hope Hornswaggle can pull it off.

Every..? What happened, did you just drop dea..?
omg every time you dryly point out something on set i crack up
I've heard from many sources in the industry that other than the first two, the Hellraiser sequels were just random horror scrips that were laying around, that had nothing to do with Hellraiser, that had the elements shoehorned in to make them profitable.
Hellraiser 4 and up were all scripts that they shoved the Hellraiser license into. If you watch them you can tell.
I give a hint as to the next movie on my website every wednesday night. (link in the description)
Hahaha I would give you a round of applause but I see you already have the clap! Hahaaaa gold
know what you mean. that's mostly why I am a fan of this series. 2 has always seemed to be my fav for some reason. I guess it just seems to have the right balance of comedy to horror for me

Thank you!
"Watch a midget disguised as a Leprechaun tell bad jokes and kill people." Is it any wonder we love B-movies?
So he dives on a grenade to save the princess, and the marines piss on his corpse. Ar we sure the Leprechaun is the bad guy?
I love Jason X. The ultimate fanservice movie
I love your movie reviews! low budget horror movies are priceless! keep up the good work!
I’m a huge, huge fan of Warwick Davis 👌💕
I am a masters student in a university and one of the labs actually has a doorbell that plays a little tune... They keep their door locked now because people keep getting in and stealing laptops.
It's Plan 9 from Outer Space for the 90's. I'm saying this because Leprechaun in Space is of those "so bad it's good" movies.
Anyone remember when Calculon said,
"That was so bad, I think it gave me cancer!!"
Lep in the hood come to do no good.
with how old this upload is, it may have been said, but when you bring up the reference to full metal jacket, the sergeant in leprechan was the helicopter gunner in full metal jacket
Nintendo kind of does their own thing. They could make awesome animated versions of their beloved properties but I think they got burned so much in the 80s-90s that they just skip it altogether. (remember the Legend of Zelda cartoon?)
It’s so weird going back and watching a video uploaded nearly ten years ago and seeing how you’ve changed in some ways and stayed the same in others
Always evolving, hopefully for the better
Yet another one to add to the "to see" list.
Of all the leprechaun movies, I love 3 in the hood and this the most.
I must have seen it 20 times back in the late 90s
Warwick Davis isn't a midget, he's a dwarf, you can tell by his fingers.
6:25 Hilariousness!
"Why doesn't he just use his magic?"
Because it wouldn't be as much fun. Clearly
Hi,
You should review these funny movies.
-Bodycount
-Blades
-Child of glass
-Evil dead
-Re animator
-Pet sematary
-House 1,2
-Brazil
-Demolition man
Somes series, like The storyteller,Tales from the crypt,Around the Twist...
Great job!
This is the most absurd horror plot ever and I love it!!! Top of the mornin to ya commander Zoltrax!
As M. Emmet Walsh said to Warwick Davis: "If you're not Cop you're Little People."
NOT MIDGET!!!
This movie wins with Debbie Dunning
Why does a magical leprechaun need a hazmat suit? He can't create a safety bubble or something around himself?
I Miss Trimark... Movie's like this.. I hope to see a review of The Dentist (and maybe Dentist 2 in one video) some time :)
Edie007 hell yeah The Dentist!
Still no Dentist! Or did I miss It? I tend to.
Is Dr Mittenhand played by Guy Siner, Lt Gruber in 'Allo 'Allo?
GazFunkstar it is!
They should release all the Leprechaun movies on Blu-ray, maybe a box set. I'd buy it.
Haven't seen Iron Sky yet but it looks so frikkin good. I have it on pre-order.
Irishploytation? Lmao
I havent seen this movie but I've heard of the franchise. I instantly recognized Warwick Davis.
MY TO ADD WITH MY OWN OPINION ON THIS MOVIE OF (LEPRECHAUN 4: In SPACE)
Despite the small number of flaws to this fourth installment movie chapter; I thought it was a really good movie to have seen, and to add I enjoyed watching it.
me too. That almost seems like a no brainer
Actually Wrong Turn 2 was very good. The reason why there were no commercials for it was because it went direct to DVD. 3 was pretty bad and I'm not sure how 4 is I haven't seen it yet.
Ive never watched this movie but i bought a blu ray set of all the leprechaun movies you inspired me to watch him in space lol
4:35-4:42 Priceless XD!
I love these movies.
I think Iron Sky has to be in these lineups... I mean Nazi's from the moon? How can you beat that!
David Daniels Love Iron Sky! Can't wait for the sequel!
GoodBadFlicks there is going to be a sequel? SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3:43 yep every future military ship venturing into space will be required by convention to have an on board Disco Bay...because what's the use of going into space without one?
I haven't seen it yet but I have it on my netflix q. I didn't like 3 but I do plan on doing WT2 sometime soon. I'll check out 4 as soon as I can
good review man
even though this is my least favorite entry in the series, I can watch it for Warrick Davis alone
never noticed those homages before. they make sense now
I can't believe that same actor who plays the Leprechaun plays one the Professors in the Harry Potter movies
8:10 Imagine that happening to every female love interest at the climax of a movie
horror therapy it could’ve happened to mikaela in transformers instead of sam. I wish it happened to mikaela in transformers
I really want to see girl love interest lose her pants more if they could make the movies for that
Dr. Mitten reminds me a little of Dr. Giggles.😂
I think you had a missed opportunity with a Zordon joke for the Dr Mittenhann character.
P.S. Is it just me or does Warwick Davis make a great Penguin(if they ever decide to make him the main villain in the next Batman)?
Ooooooh man.... The OLD theme. My, how you've grown.
Dr Mittenhand or whatever his name is, sure looks alot like lieutenant Gruber from the series Allo, Allo
That's the same actor I believe
Mittenhand looks like a low-rent Davros!
Doctor Mittenhanz(?) is Gil Chesterton from Frasier
Had to stop the vid after the Pulp Fiction reference, from my gut hurting.
You should see them hack the Gibson with their metal folder with calculator guled inside.
hmmm...I think I need to see part 2 again, haven't seen it in years
Ok I am curious but how many scientists have you met in your life…LOL The pop in face is gold.
At least 2.
Love this series. I enjoy it that much more because it freaks out my GF, while I'm laughing she is shuddering. Good times.
the first two were cool but then they just went crazy with the ideas
I think part 2 is probably my least favorite of the bunch. I liked them when they got really silly, it added to the fun of the whole thing.
Left out the best part. The actor who played Mittenhands (what a name) also played a Nazi on the British sit-com "Allo, Allo".
Professor Flitwick, no! And Guy Siner was In Doctor Who and Babylon 5 as well.
I grew up in a catholic school, they showed all kind of stuff to scare kids about sin
me too
Lmao, this looks hilarious
