War Time is an award winning World War Two short film. Based on true events that took place in wwii. An emotional heartwarming story of a British and German Soldier forming an unlikely friendship during one of the saddest conflicts of European history.

Weapon is wrong… he should be carrying either Enfield rifle, Sten or Thompson machine gun.

One scene no webbing jacket unbuttoned and the next it magically reappears....that British army uniform is all wrong for battle dress and the blue water bottle strap?.....please no
At least have the curtesy to research what you are portraying....the last german soldier didn't even have anything in his bread bag
And that shooting at the bunker?..
..way to far away for accurate shots with a carbine or MP40 both designed for close fighting....and not even the correct weapons for British soldiers in ww2

I run a german ww2 reenactment group and am happy to help in any questions...I've also appeared in TV and films in uniform

Also not realistic: attacking a (soort of) guarded bunker alone and no alarm going off in the bunker when shots are fired. And what about soldiers walking alone, not realistic

I thought the same, as a point of trivia. British soldiers in WW2 would have been using the Lee-Enfield .303 surely ? That looked like an American Garrand. Not impossible, but still ?
@@petergraves2085 The weapon the Brit was carrying was an M-1 Carbine, not an M-1 Garand.
Award for what? For 1960 Beatles hair? Non-standard uniform? With no other soldiers with him attacking a fort with how many Germans? For that ridicules last scene?
This was terrific. An amazing job if you did this when you were a teen.
I wonder why the WW2 was not finished after three days thanks to such british heros and the unbelievable unprofessional behaviour of the German soldiers! 😂😂😂
lets see , he's been in combat so long he couldn't get a haircut
The hair cut, the tunic would have been the battle jacket, the M-1 carbine would not have been used probably the Mk111* or the Mk1V.
Details like that should be considered. Helmetwould probably have been OD.

his hair was far too long , the last German killed , wearing the face mask is the same German at the end who sat down next to the tree.
This is just overall bad, the uniforms, then weapons, the shameless usage of footage from paralite, the hair, the Historical accuracy

So many things about the acting are not natural enough but the outfits, weapons and places are well chosen.
