I rotate between meals for seniors, soup kitchens and making meals for the sober living facilities. I try to make a difference where I can🙏
YES, I love those LIL DEBBIE Christmas Tree CAKES..I confess Father Danno I ate one one box already. They were 3/$6 at Publix last week and they had the biggest display, like walking thru the Christmas Store wonderland!!
I make my own chocolate covered Ritz Crackers and Oreos and they are delicious with white chocolate too. You can put peanut butter in between 2 Ritz crackers then dip it in the chocolate is great! Delmonte is still cheaper at Sam’s Club. Looks like a great deal on Turkeys. I’m not an eggnog fan 😂
I make chocolate covered Oreos as part of my Christmas cookie trays. I have lots of molds and usually use the Double Stuffed. I use Ghiradell baking chocolate. So easy.
FYI Danno, just saw on a Newsweek feed that over 150,000 bottles of water were recalled due to possible contamination of coliform bacteria. The company's name is Berkeley Club Beverages, and the states affected are W. Virginia, Virginia and Maryland.
I saw (I think on Tik Tok) someone who bought a bunch after Christmas and froze them. Then, when she needed a quick treat, she made cake balls out of them. I don't know if the coating on them really work as well as real frosting, but might be good if you don't have time to bake a cake. I'd rather just eat the Christmas trees.

WOW, Meijer's turkey parts have not changed price in about 5 years! The potato farmers in Idaho are losing their water rights. Expect ALL potato products to be sky h high in the near future. French's, etc. rely on those potatoes. It's a multi-billion dollar industry. I am not wild about Meijer canned vegs. Why has eggnog been so expensive?| Blue Bonnet and most SPREADS are no longer "margarine". I will not use them in cooking, as they are full of water. GFS and Laond o-Lakes are 'Margaruine" and I will use them. The Christmas cookie cutter and spatula would make a cute gift,or to use as a 'bow' on a bigger gift. (Cinnamon Toast Crunch bacon,SMH!)

The large 32. oz bags of 8 O'clock Coffee are $15.99, the same product is $14.52 at Walmart, i buy the whole Bean Espresso roast to make my "ice" (refrigerator) steeped Coffee. Danno, when in Walmart can you please check on aisle expansion/retraction, specifically Ramen? My local Walmart expanded Ramen from 12-32ft, people are broke looking for cheap.

I ran into guy stocking little debbie cakes I said what happened to chocolate christmas cakes he said little debbie couldn't get deal on enough of cocoa to make chocolate christmas cakes so they won't be any this year I said I waited all year for them now I'm disappointed
Have you seen the calories on Little Debbie's ? Between those and pop tarts, bad for your teeth and will pack on the pounds if eaten on a regular basis. I think of children who have people buy them for them. It blows my mind seeing the junk people eat.
@owlout1 That's why I work 10 hour shifts I burn off calories when I go doctor she ask how I stay healthy no health issues I said I eat what I want don't worry but stuff I can't control work so much I burn alot of calories off
@@bradjohnson8783 can also cause blood cholesterol issues for anyone. I work 12 hour shifts on my feet. I first hand see what obesity does to people's lives of all ages, in my work, people in early 40s even, come in with STEMI/ stroke/ new onset diabetes.

Egg nog is extremely rich too much can definitely give you a belly ache. Maybe drinking too much of it at one time 🤷♀️
