A steamrr would’ve removed this easily. Use that for tint and wrap in the future

you guys should have done the wrap before placing the cf shark fin on the roof. Would have made things a lot more easier and better looking

agree, there were a few fails with the wrap. premium will get a good chuckle, but props for the attempt!
You should have tried a steamer it would have left less adhesive

Doug Cohen they painted the bumpers seperately instead of blending them. cant stand seeing this flaw.
Doug Cohen well you have to keep in mind the 335i has old paint that has probably faded a little bit and the front bumper has fresh paint

Thanks for the nice unboxing video. Accuair’s quality looks really nice and I can see why it is a little pricier then other options out there. If I was gunna bag a car, I would wanna make sure it functions when I need it to and that it looks good doing it.

Any thoughts on the f30 to f80 front end and bumper conversion? I looked long and wide at pictures between the 2 models to finally realize that the shape of the grills and headlights make it uglier than the m3 and 4 series. Same goes with the e90 and e92. E90 just looks bad. E92 is sleek and nice, biggest issue, those headlights. Even though they are literally the same chassis, they make the standard 3 series uglier, maybe so the more expensive model sells. I've heard of e90 front end conversions, but f30 ones are much common, at least the bumper swap. I've seen someone that wanted an awd m3 convert an x-drive 3 series fully. With cutting the back of the car to replace the fenders and all that. I don't think the back needs changing, I prefer the f30 taillights over the rounded m3 and 4 series ones. The real problem is the fenders are wider, so you need m3 fenders, and maybe roll the back, I don't know if they'll match or if it'll work. Then the headlights, bumper and hood, bumper and fenders for the m3 are further forward, and you need those for the headlights and grills, then the hood is too short so you need to deal with that. Yes I did my homework, I really wanted to swap the front end on an f30 as they are cheapest to find not taken care of and maybe do an engine swap, good modern chassis to build upon I guess, but the more I looked at it I said, Idk man, the front end on the m3 isn't even that good looking, from the side it looks killer, but facing it straight, dunno. So I went looking and the next contender was the f10 5 series, again, still not sure if I like the front but the back looks great and I'd have less hacking to do, just bumpers swaps. Btw the m3 and m4 use the standard 4 series f32 headlights so no need to pay m tax on those. I don't know if all the work and parts are even worth it, but I just don't like the front of the f30, looks too, squared off.
imagine how much easier that would have been with that shark fin antenna removed... more work? less work? Still great vid guys, always enjoy!

just a little tip for when you do a next roof wrap. if you're going to leave the aerial in (best to take it out). mask around it to form a template to make a ring around it, take it off and place on the vinyl, cut the inside shape out slightly smaller than the tape shape then take the backing off and apply. won't require now where near ans my heating or creating stress on the material
love the detail of blacking out the roof and doing that stencil on the FM making it way more personal by branding it.
Removal old vinyl is a prick, but have found using a wall paper steamer makes it heaps easier than a heat gun or hair dryer!

It hurts me to see people pull wrap off like that. Any time you pull wrap off straight back like that it will leave a ton of adhesive behind. You want to pull it towards you and up. I worked for a vinyl shop for a few years and that technique saved us a ton of time, with some heat of course. Just my 2 cents ..... great vid as always though

Man that was cringeworthy to watch...you guys really need to do some YouTubing to see how to easily remove old ppf, steamer would have removed that with no adhesive left behind at all, and would have been a half hour job, other then that, keep the vids coming
