Thanks man, im having a lot of fun getting back into dirt jumping. as far as the chain stay goes i honestly dont have anything to compare it to. This bike is feeling great to me though and the only thing i would say is that its a real tough and beefy dirt jumper and it probably weighs a couple more pounds than a bike such as the single speed specialized p series dirt jumper. however this one can be converted to single speed or bought in a single speed version if thats what you want.
Hey, this bike is definately built to dirt jump and i personally single speeded mine recently. I suppose if you wanted to you could adjust the seat up, get into a lower gear and pedal around but i would definately recommend looking into other options as this bike does not have the right geometry for xc riding. thanks for the question and i hope this response helps
I have a ticket exchange as well. It's a great bike. People who comment on the chainstay length aren't understanding the bikes purpose. It is not a street/park bike. It is a dirt jump bike., nothing else. That being said I'm going to convert it to SS., and will probably pull the front brake.
Chain stay length is a personal thing for everyone. The shorter the chainstay the easier it is to manual and bunnyhop. If you are trying to ride park and street as well as dirt I would say get something where the chainstay length is short as possible. I would not say this for bmx because it can get too twitchy for some peoples taste but for a 26" the shorter the better because its already more difficult to get the front end up for manuals on a big bike.
Hi, i used to dj and race bmx from like age 8-14 or so and i'm 21 now. i got into riding all mountain about 2 years ago and doing some drops and jumps and what not on my trek remedy but i'm just now getting back into dj.
Hello again, so i looked around a little more at a couple of other bikes like this and it looks like the specialized p2 has a 390 mm chainstay, the transition trail or park is 400-419 mm and the trek ticket is around 424. so basically if your way in to the bunny hopping and manuals then you may have a easier time on a couple of the other ones but if you like trek and your not real concerned about bunny hops or manuals this bike will still tear it up.
Nice riding man, so you're digging the ticket? I'm a trek guy and wanting a DJ bike but folks are saying bad things about how trek lengthened the chain stays on the 2012. What's your opinion?
I have never weighed it however i will say that there are lighter more barebones options out there. If you single speeded the bike you would drop a little bit of weight. that being said keep in mine the bike is extremely tough. If i get a chance to weigh it i will get back to you for sure.

don't case whatever you do
Ticket Exchange has gears...Ticket Stub doesn't though. They're both Dirt Jumpers
dirt jumpers don't have gears! :-)
