- Mahima Nambiar is a very popular actor in south Indian Cinema. In her last release RDX in Malayalam she played a part opposite Shane Nigam, she became very popular after this movie. Her latest release is little hearts produced by Sandra Thomas where she again plays a part opposite Shane Nigam.
She has acted in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu movies. Her real name is Gopika. Saattai (2012), which was her Tamil film debut. She was in class 12 when she acted in the film, in which she played the lead role of Arivazhagi, a village schoolgirl. She continued to work in Tamil movies. At the Toronto Tamil International Film Festival 2021, she won the Special Jury Award for Outstanding Performance - Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film Magamuni.
In this video she talks about her 14 year old journey as an actor, the ups and downs that she faced in her career as well as her personal life. She talks about her own personality traits that make her who she is, her vulnerabilities and fears. Thoroughly enjoyed all 3 parts! Other than RDX,I was surprised to see her acting skills in her Tamil movie with Vijay Antony! She nailed that role!! I really hope she gets strong roles in malayalam industry!
Mahima surprised me, i felt like she is altogether a different personality from what we see in interviews.... when I saw the thumbnail, I had a prejudice in mind that what more is this girl other than that happy going cute girl... this interview changed my mindset.. so thank you Dhanya for this interview!!!
