    Exactly this happened to me and I realised after I had put it up in the ceiling.. I noticed the copper jumping out when trying the system on the floor to get familiar, but i just shove it back in but that wasn´t enough - you didn´t think further at that point.. Gonna use this tip now, awesome!

      @@Totallightingsupply it wasn’t exactly this tip which helped because the copper in my rails went from end to end, but it’s a good start!
      i can add to check that the light source hits the rail copper, it can fasten without touching it.. get miss placed..
      and for some reason, the plastic rail profiles had an edge on one of the sides, and all these edges had to match and be on the same side for every added unit of track... this was the main problem and was not in the manual... i dont know why that solved it, maybe it is a contact thing as well, it’s certainly not polarization because as of now i have lamps installed in both directions on the rail, when you twist them on there!..
      but here you go, feel free to ask me details or other stuff!
      all good, stay safe.

    Thanks , helpful information,
    But I have a question, Are there any problems if the track installed on the side wall of the room not in ceiling?

    • @Totallightingsupply
      @Totallightingsupply  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the track lighting style you are using. A wall installation that is designed to hang from a ceiling can put stress on the fixture and track connection in a way it was not designed to handle leading to possible failure. Hope that helps :)

    Can you cut the tracks to specific lengths with a hach saw?

    • @Totallightingsupply
      @Totallightingsupply  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, our track can be cut with a hack saw but we recommend using a guide to get a square edge. Have a blessed day 🙂

    Question- my track lighting shuts off after about 5 minutes then turns back on after about 10 min?

    I have been having this very problem a lot lately. I'm a commercial service tech and continuity problems with track lighting has become an issue. Why can't the track manufacturers devise a way to lock the plastic insert and buss to the aluminum outer frame/rail? Surely it couldn't be that complicated.
