I found your channel yesterday. I normally don't subscribe, but wanted to give you a boost. I'm glad I did. I've been sewing for 50 yrs. Yes I'm old. I also buy bedding from thrift stores since fabric is so expensive now. You have great vision. I wish you all the luck in your sewing journey and your TH-cam channel. Also I've never left a comment before. But I wanted to encourage you to keep it up and I look forward to more videos from you.
wow! thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to encourage me on this new venture 🥰
Thank you for the fun you create in my life! You are so adorable, and you cottage corp vibe suits my taste perfectly. I am smiling every time I watch!
Oh! 😁😁😁 thanks so much! This comment made me smile. It’s such a joy to know that this channel could have such an impact 🥰🥰
Nice finds!!!
I think you have a bright future on TH-cam. You are like a ray of sunshine. I am a new quilter, and I never even thought of using bed sheets for fabric. I look forward to seeing your creations and I look forward to seeing your channel grow.🌞
Thanks so much for the kind words 😊 I so appreciate you dropping by!
You can also use cotton fabric from clothes like tops or dresses for quilts and it really add to the quilt. have fun on your journey!
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you!
You have given me good ideas. Thank you and happy sewing
Wonderful! 😊
Your creativity is inspiring me!
Thank you! 😊
OMG…what great finds! The floral fabric for V8577, the buttery cotton fabric, Ralph Lauren & Tommy Hilfiger bedsheets are my favorites. Can’t wait to see your makes. You have an eye for sourcing fabrics. Happy Sewing!
Thanks so much! It’s been a great exercise in patience 😆
You do have a great eye for thrifting fabrics. As you described your sewing plans I was surprised you could make a dress from a queen flat sheet☺️ I have made pajama pants from a sheet as a wearable toile. I have made pillows from shirts. You take it to another level. It’s about looking at bed linens differently. I’m going fabric hunting today!
Yay! I hope your trip was successful! 😊
Loved your haul.
Thank you! 😊
I need to shop where YOU go! My local thrift stores are so hit or miss!
Love everything you got. I really like that u thrifted good quality fabric. You remind me of myself when I started sewing a longgggggg time ago. I love Laura Ashley then and you have revived my Laura Ashley vibes.
Those vintage Laura Ashley dresses are just so dreamy! It's definitely an affinity worth reviving 😄
Oh my goodness! watching you was like watching a treasure chest being unpacked! I must confess, I have a bout of fabric envy over here! (We don't often have printed sheets and things in the thrift stores , but my friends will sometimes give me old quilts and curtains)🙃. Love the patterns you chose for every piece of fabric.
Fabric hauls are always so fun for me to watch too! It's funny b/c sometimes I can't see how good I've actually got it (with the sheet finds) until it's all put together in a huge pile like this but by then I've usually gone out and picked up more 😆 btw, I love your channel name & am looking forward to having a cup of tea and watching!
Wow nice fabrics that you thrifted. Nice plans,as well. I just recently ventured into the thrift aisles of bedding and window treatments as sources of fabric. It was definitely mind blowing for me there was so much I could actually use. So my thinking has really changed 🤔 and I will be doing more with rescuing fabrics as opposed to buying new from fabric shops. Thanks for the cideo.
I know that a lot of people have been using bedding for fabric for a while to it’s pretty new to me and I feel like one of the best kept secrets of the sewing world! I also love the term ‘rescuing fabric’ - that’s so spot on!
So glad I found your channel
I thrift bedsheets too!!!
They make the most beautiful spring summer dresses
Love your vibe

Great haul. Our thrift stores never have sheets.
