Love the plaid!!! We have a crafty thrift store in upstate SC called ReCraft Creative Reuse Center. I’ve found several fabric pieces there. I need to go on a Saturday when I have more time to look through the tons of sewing patterns. Lunch break doesn’t leave enough time for that. 😂
I am so here for the thrifted fabrics. Just made a dress from $3 table cloths that my sister picked up for me at the auction house. Love the fabric you got and your holiday sounds like it was so so much fun
I want to visit the US just to go to Remainders! Charlie from the channel “The Stitchery” talks about them all the time, and I’m so jealous! Unfortunately, a trip from the Middle East to the US to go thrifting, kind off defeats the point. 🤣
l just stumbled across your video. I had to laugh hearing you talk about Remainders, There is a channel called The Stirchery aka Charley. She lives out in CA. She seems to be their biggest supporter. She is a hoot to watch. She does not use patterns. She creates clothing out of her Id. i do my thrifting at Goodwill. I have bought a good bit of sewing fabric, both quilting and apparel. (yardage, including 3 yards of dupione) I have invested in table cloths, sheets, duvet covers, shams, pillow cases, various home decor fabrics, shower curtains, drapes, and more, I also check out many Walmarts I have found lovely dress fabrics in their precut bundle fabrics. I did catch some deals when 2 Joanns recently went out of business.
Hahaha! That noise was your washer the whole time. I kept pausing the video to try to determine what the noise was but it would stop when I did. Hahaha! I couldn't figure out what was going on. Glad to know it's not my speakers.
Oh my goodness I’m so sorry! I’ve got to remember to turn it off to film- it’s on the other side of that wall right behind me! I think I run it so much I forget that it’s there 😂

The eggplant plaid is beautiful!
Thank you!
Cannot wait to see the eggplant plaid coat. Promise to make it and share?
Oh my gosh! That purple plaid is stunning! Thanks for the reminder about Seattle Recreative, I need to make my way out there one of these days.
It’s so fun to hunt for treasures!
Those are cool finds. You said they are few times. Does your son craft too?
No- my daughter is the one making all the crafty messes 😂
