Honestly, for a unit that's like 5 years old, it's crazy she's doing THIS well. Granted she does need dupes to compete with the newer PvP units of today, it's still cool that she's at least somewhat usable again

I think people are more excited about a Rez that gets ignore bb invincibility than retsu without realizing or admitting it. I only pulled the 1 copy all those years ago but the people who got her 5/5, you have a chance if you're built so it's not too bad for y'all.
I wonder what they will give 4th Anni Vasto Lorde resurrection since he was made to counter Unohana, but was over shadowed by other pvp characters before his release. Even when he was released, he couldn't keep up that well cause he was "designed" for Unohana only. If he had bruiser, NAD soul trait, or even a status ailment (lacerate) he may have competed a bit better. As a pvp character, he heavily needs a good resurrection.

Pretty much is but she ain't keeping the Full Stam either, still is an L move for them to give her a skill where she needs to have Lower HP to activate it.
Characters out there have Prevent Brave Battle Healing , so I dont think it's that impactful.
I think it's more of a just incase for just incase she cant heal enough

Ok here me out, people got excited over this Retsu Rez because it shows Klab can actually start giving out GOOD skills, she got 2 meta skills, is she good no, but this means Klab has NO EXCUSE to give ass Rez to old characters, especially TYBW characters. Byakuya and Yachiru got shafted hard, if both had frenzy they would be usable.

There are two versions of him. A trash one and an OP one. The trash one is the Mind version that will occasionally come back as a filler whenever a new TYBW banner drops or when there's a rerun.
And then we have the OP Tech one that will pretty much return when Heart Yhwach and Power Yamamoto come back with their rerun.

Do you think she is better than a 1/5 yamamoto? My team right now is only the yama a 2/5 Ywhach and 2/5 Kenpachi, the only 5/5 pvp units that I have are Speed Chad Power Kenpachi and Yachiru butbeing 5/5 so op maybe it will be worth idk
Honestly she is Yama but with a better killer and no status ailments. Yhwach, Kenny and Retsu will work but you need to share links and accessories between the two.

hey any tips for consistent captains? Like I’ve been in captain league ever since I had my Yhwach 5/5 but I don’t want to solely rely on him I have Yachiru new Cad Askin Speed Chad all 1/5 but then my actual team which is Kuru(2/5), jugram(3/5), and Yhwach so I’m just trying to figure out what new combinations I could do with only the one max transcendent character
Just use TYBW Chad and Kuruyashiki alongside Yhwach, that's the meta rn.

As someone who been running a Def build Retsu for years along with Def Speed Chad , this nothing new. Her resurrection only brought a minor damage increase with a niche skill upgrade. Ppl thinking this was a acceptable resurrection are obviously the ones I run over in PvP all the time. As you can see their is plenty of them.
If she had like a much higher bruiser that stayed consistent, I think it would've been a lot better. I'd argue to say that it's a much more accessible character that can pretty much kill Yama, Tsuki and Jugram. Or in other words, a SAFWY Yama 2.0. without the invincibility but has a much better Killer.
I think retsu has had one of the best resurrection in the game. I’m not sure why you think this resurrection was bad and it’s more than acceptable. Sure she isn’t top class but she came out nearly 6 years ago. That “niche” skill was her selling point. Because of that many new players will buy her pack to move up in pvp.

Depends on the characters, we have strong attacking characters and normal attacking characters. I recommend watching guides on how to build them, but if a unit has Frenzy, Pill, Bait, SAD 20% item, Tenshintai etc with SAR links. NAD units, Chappy, Golden Chappy, Bait, NAD 20% item and the links DR/NAD. Just depends on the game mode.
Chad is just nuts if he had ignore invincibilty he would be Nr.1 he is still nr. 2 tho...

No, bro. It's a fact we're now in a power creep phase. Klab making these character (Yuha, Kuru, Kenny) beyond broken, with just 1/5. I don't know what to say this, but old character slowly dethroned.

How can you say the 30 Na boost at halve hp is not good while also saying earlier you want low stamina dmg boost as a bonus skill
And good pvp players will at least have one prevent healing on their team to counter Tsuki mainly and her getting ignore invisibility is super strong if you have her with at least 3 dupes

Because you can literally only go for that for when it comes to even trying to get more damage with this character in PvP which is still as a whole, dumb as hell. Also Tsuki ain't even that annoying anymore, it's more so Yhwach and Chad so giving units something like Prevent Brave Battle Healing as a bonus is just a waste, even more so when Yhwach can still paralyze and screw over the enemy team, on top of just being able to completely murder Retsu. Also the only units that even remotely have Brave Battle Healing as a 6 star skill is just VL and SAFWY Yama, whom are both easily powercrept in today's meta for PvP.
Tsuki doesn't have to be annoying he is a no Affiliation unit a beefy tsuki with just up links

Yama is still strong as ever but I run 5/5 Tuski Jugram 5/5 and 3rd is flexible

Bbs counter the most broken skill to touch pvp chad has the double dmg perk killing himself fasted against my Jugram he eats even his killers up and Kuro is also a joke to fight againt
Dodge last ditch all of thoss skills are useless now in pvp so having 1 prevent healing on your team that isn't yama that gets blown up in today's meta is also nice people just dont give their links transcendence why pvp is a joke now all the Og's left

She's purchasable rn but for her to come back in a banner, you have to wait for a rerun for TYBW.

He'll prevent the healing but Unohana will pretty much have a bit of an advantage since the higher bruiser that she has now.

Nah she don't have Guard Break, generic PvP character.
Normal attackers meant for pvp are usually trash in pve if they don't have guard break,pvp sp characters are usually viable tho (only more than Nad characters with no guard break)

Those are resurrections. It improves an old unit's stats and skills. It never said that they would be on a banner. Either way they'll be back in future TYBW banners, we just had them on one of the previous rerun banners

She is still the greatest PVP character to ever come, she might not be up there anymore but it took years to de throne her.
Also for people who think unohana is a PvP character again, she isn’t, remember she has Captain/Soul Repear Affiliation, so 6th Anni Aizen literally obliterates her, if beyond Bankai Kenpachi can’t withstand Aizen, she is not even close to withstanding against Nnoitora.

That makes no sense, cuz if a unit has Brave Battle Skills, that makes it clear that the character was designed for Brave Battles. Not because "it's a Soul Reaper/Captain Affiliation", if that statement were true then "Kenpachi and Kuruyashiki isn't a PvP character" which is wrong as hell since you're still gonna use those characters as they hit hard af.
As for Aizen killing Retsu, only if you have her set to Attack strategy where you can interrupt Aizen's SAs, you can kill him since her SA3 activates faster than him. If Aizen were placed on the side, the opponent had Special Strategy, then yes, he's gonna murder Retsu like he can murder Kuruyashiki and Kenny.
And Nnoitora isn't even all that strong anymore, as long as you give a unit pierce barrier, he'll just die with ease, Unohana can still outdamage cuz she now has a legit Bruiser + the half stam Bruiser. The only thing you need to give her is Pierce Barrier and it's done.
