The transition from TYBW Aizen to Yama was too cold 🥶
not exactly a "dps" tierlist tbh, more of a overall damage tierlist, dps would be without counting sb. Dps is consistent damage per second, but then again, we still don't have a dps test dummy in the game, so testing that would be hard. SB is a nuke, aka burst damage.
Imo the top 5 pure dps (without SB use and off killer/attribute) characters in the game would be:
1:TYBW power Yama
2: SAWFY power Kenpachi
3: Anniversary speed Ishida
4: TYBW technique Aizen
5: CFYOW technique Retsu
purely based off of their SA/NAD damage, without counting things like gauge or status ailment SP/Attack boost.
Me, who had been wishing for an broken Anni Yama… seeing a him being this great while not even being an actual anni unit. Absolutely satisfied.
I was shocked Yama was 1st place. I thought Kon would be in that place🤦🤦

I'm not surprised by renji, his multipliers are nuts just lack of havoc which sets him back a little bit, but he's still able to beat a unit with sp boost but if he's full stam you always have that damage
My issue with this tier list is that. It didnt honor CDs, difficulty of the enemy, range of skills, you can only use one soul bomb, proc the status ailments, damage of DOT to the enemy inflicted to it, etc. Should be renamed more of damage potential tier list.
For those people who are blindly taking this rankings on face value, focus on the below information. A real and more practical way to check DPS is to test it against ultra IT with off-killer damage. The key point to look for is "consistent damage".
1) At the outset, Soul bomb damage and strong attack or Normal attack damage are two different things. You cant create a linear weighted sum of both the types into the formula, like our boy riddler did. Cause it doesnt do real justice to some characters(like Lisa, Power SAFWY Zaraki ) and overrate some like the TYBW yama.
2) For SA damage, compute the overall damage is using SAD, FSD, FSSAD. If a unit has SP Boost, apply only additional 65% damage. Dont include status ailment increase. Eg: TYBW yama, when he gets SP boost, dont apply additional 1.4*1.4 status multipliers because yama gets SP boost by inflicting status ailment on one enemy at a time, in a general pve, the status ailment multipliers wont apply to others in the mob except for 65% SP boost damage
3) You need to account for the overall strong attack kit. For eg: everyone who played quite long can appreciate why 6th Anni Aizen is a more consistent damage machine than 7th Anni Ichigo because 7th Ichigo has a sub-standard SA1 and his damage purely relies on SP Up. While Anni Aizen is a consistent SAD damage unit with Frenzy+2 and all 3 best SAs in the game so far along with TYBW Yama.
4) Comparing Frenzy and Flurry things is again not correct. Flurry units typically outdo Frenzy units on single enemy game modes like Senkaimon boss stages , epic raids. While Frenzy's outshine them in crowded pve game modes like IT, PE, IZ etc.
To conclude, a better way to compare characters is to check for the """consistent damage""". Dont mix SADs, NADs and soul bombs in the same formulae
My Yama is only 3/5 no link slot upgrades and I was able to use some half arsed items and decent soul links to soul bomb straight to round 5 in the normal guild quest.
Yamamoto carries in Brave Battles. I auto lose to those who have him :(
Daddy ichigo use his third strong more faster than Yama. Is a great counter for sp characters like Aizen

The new meta characters are weak to SP characters.
Nah, I have him 5/5, he lacks killers. Anni Aizen and Daddy Ichigo are better if you position them right.

One good shout out to kek-lab to point out is that this top 10 best units in the game are two heart, two power, two tech, two speed and two mind, one of each in both top and bottom five. So at least they are finally doing something right after having the attributes strenght so fucked up for some years.
I'm from the era that tech had Oh-Etsu and nobody else, came back to the game yesterday and already got Aizen 😁

Hollowfied Lisa was my 2nd character that I got when I started the game and I haven't even awakened her and she's more powerful than 6th ani Aizen??? WOW
I use her in Inheritance Trails. I have her T20. I remember entering a room that said good units, and he kicked me out like 6x when I entered with Lisa, but he let me play with my T10 Toshiro.. 🤷♂️

He is a good link unit.
Means he is good to be used in links.
But the 6 star ticket from there gives too old characters so you would get a link character from there too.

does Uryuu dps factor take in to account his guage mechanic? cause from what i know it multiplies his SAD by 2 times , which should make him far above retsu and most chars on that list other than yama
yes it did take into account the gauge mechanic. you should've heard that part unless idk what you heard.

Depends where are you going to use him most. If it's Guild Quest, you can go with the usual meta of Full Stamina Damage and Weaken Defense(it stacks). If you are going the regular PVE content, Full Stamina and Long Stride. I gave my Yama Hit Hidden enemies and 15% Dodge for the lolz.
