I cannot thank you enough for this video! I've been looking forward to it for a long long time. I'm so glad you finally found the time to do it. And again you did not disappoint! This has to be one of your finest works. Precise, analytical and to the point. What surprises me is that at least up to now there's no sign of the last n/a V12 making a difference. I cannot believe this (see 458) but maybe because all is still available and the significance of it has not yet sunken in. I like the fact you pointed to it in your thumbnail, that's great 👍 Now, the outcome of it all is somehow disappointing as it means I really shouldn't buy one. I know I'm generally an advocate of there's so much more than the numbers. And this did not change at all. It's just that here we reach an order of magnitude where absolute numbers become a make it or break it factor for some of us. So, with a bit of sadness that was to be expected, thanks again for all your efforts. You're a hero!
Aventador surely is an interesting model. You didn't really cover the LP720 but then again, they are anniversary cars--so I saw you removed special edition cars but not all special editions are equal). I wonder if there is a way to look at the original prices vs. the current prices for the anniversary cars (eg. Countach, Diablo, Murcielago Aventador). Is there enough data? Again thanks for these!
Yeah I also wanted the SV not too expansive and has the aero the downforce and the suspension tuned upgrades. Now that are outta my reach. Can spend 400k plus on a car 😞
It’s been a few years since you looked at the Aventador market. Could you make an update video for this car? It might be reaching a bottom of the curve at this point, making it a good time to buy the oldest versions!
just recently found your channel, i really like it. you should do a video on the SUBARU sti, i would say the 2015+ gen cars. would greatly appreciate it, i am considering either a new sti or maybe a used 981 boxter s
Would love to see something about the newest Ford GT iteration! They seem to more or less double in resale value but this could potentially dip lower after more models hit the used market. But, could potentially skyrocket after some years.
Another great video! I’m actually looking at buying one of these cars, you should totally give us your opinion on which one you would buy! From the sound of it it sounds like the Aventador S would be the best purchase right now?
Looks like 700 will have done its money / bottom out in 3 yrs but it will be a decade or so old car...good vid - shows premium halo semi-hyper cars falling in value ....only the gilt edged stuff like 458 speciale immune to depn now (plus cgt/p1/f1/288/f40 etc) since the heady heights of 2017 peak in values!
You can't really calculate depreciation the way you're doing it by saying sv loses 35k a year because cars don't lose value in a vacuum, mileage is the main reason, time can have a positive or negative affect based upon availability, esp with aventadors, they hold their value well aka mileage reduces price at a slower rate than on a fusion, but even with depreciation if u run up the miles, that depreciation is the premium you're paying for enjoying the car for so many miles
That's why also the depreciation per 1000 miles is included. Nevertheless, for most cars (not all), it works pretty good to look at the year vs price relationship because mileage and year are highly correlated.
*Which car would you like to see analysed next?*
S class please!
Still waiting for a Ferrari 599gtb video
You've done the Aventador. I'm happy 😊
Porsche panamera please
Hummer H1 please and thank you
Would love to see an updated analysis of the V12 lambo market now that the general exotic market has been impacted my macroeconomic conditions

Prices now are insane. I was going to buy an SV with 3k miles in 2019 for 370k. That exact same car is now 500k
Yeah I also wanted the SV not too expansive and has the aero the downforce and the suspension tuned upgrades. Now that are outta my reach. Can spend 400k plus on a car 😞

I stopped following them for a while but they will reappear on the channel by the end of the year.

Feels like this content is gonna be a little skewed due to the pandemic.
