    I made HP style brown sauce yesterday. Whacked the ingredients in and put it on the cream soup setting but extended it to 45 minutes. Absolutely perfect!

    This would be for Magimix themselves...... I'm really impressed with these machines and your fantastic demonstrations of your experience with the versatility and stacking of prep elements. I'm wondering if Magimix has considered an additional componant for the gastronomic passions that would come as a pressured unit on top of the expert model and would offer the making of essences, concretes and hydrosols (flavored waters) with many different ingredients and adding to the many potential recipes and end products already of potential? I've already a design for the "gooseneck and condenser" for such an addition! Specialist chefs, herbalists and those interested could add a whole new dimension to their explorations and developments! Thank you

    An envious U.S.A. viewer. It's even more painful that we don't have access to the Cook Expert now that Connect has been launched. 😭

    Hi. I just had a crazy thought. You said you cooked your bacon in the Cook Expert. Do you think it would work to toast muesli/granola too? I usually do it in the oven and mix it about 3 times in the 45 minute cook, but I would do it more often if I could toss a whole batch in the Cook Expert and set and forget it! I haven’t downloaded the update with the stir fry function yet so what temperature etc would you recommend I use in expert mode?

      Hi Monique, for something like muesli/granola, it's important to have a really dry environment, so you would get better results in the oven for sure. :)

      Oops.. I translated the French recipe. It just mixes the granola in the Cook Expert and you still have to cook it in the oven after that.

      @@mahadewiiii yes definitely do it in the oven. I did try it in the Cook Expert and it didn’t work well. It did eventually do it, but it took much longer than the oven and didn’t toast up as nicely.

    Which model is it pls? Can you do soups in it as well?

    • @MagimixAus
      @MagimixAus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Karnika, the models are listed and linked in the description. They both do soups beautifully!
      The Cook Expert can do soups with an automatic program while the food pro can blend soups in place of a blender.

      @@MagimixAus thank you. Appreciate your speedy response. Hot piping soup vegetables can go in the food processor and I can easily blend it, am I correct in thinking this? Also, is the chute as big as the sage/breville? There food chute is 14cm.

    • @MagimixAus
      @MagimixAus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@karnikadawar9134 Hi Karnika, yes you are correct! The food processors come with an attachment called the BlenderMix and this will turn the machine into a blender. The chute of our XL food processors are 14cm .
