I know this was a while ago, can you please tell me what you mean by your backup camera was included ? I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze with backup camera and I don't want to pull another cable to hook up my camera or install another camera since I already have one in the vehicle installed in the trunk. Did you mean that your factory camera works with this radio?
Nice! There's a USB port in the console to play music with the stock radio. Or at least my 2012 has it, but definitely looking forward to getting one of these.

I have a 2014 cruze and while I can play music from my phone via bluetooth, sometimes the time bar at the bottom of the screen showing the length of the song and how much is left in the song sometimes disappears. This would breathe new life into my car.
I have the 10 inch model installed on my Camry XSE 2016, cost me about $150 from ebay, it does have the same menu as the one that you have. And it will show that it runs on Android 9, and it has 2Gb RAM but the truth is only has 1Gb of RAM and the Android version is a 6 if I'm not wrong. Overall, and for what I paid, I can't complain. Great video by the way 👍
what happens to default backup camera that comes with car, can we not hookup that same camera to this system and it starts working ? or with this system your default camera is of no use and you have to buy seperste backup camera and hook it up?

I just bought a 2014 chevy cruze. It has this radio in it but I am ignorant about these things and do not have a user manual. I can not figure out how to set the radio stations on the radio. Does it have am and fm or just fm?

There is a Tesla-like system for my Chevrolet Cruze I didn't use the car for a day and a half and I tried to activate the system, it didn't work. The Android system crashes and I don't have a restart button outside. It may be that the system needs to be disassembled and it is inside.

There is now a replacement module available for the 2013 cruze should work on (2011-2015 atleast) that takes 5 minutes to install and will allow streaming of music also with phone functions retained... have seen TH-cam videos (plug n play)

I have the same unit looks like. My microphone quality is terrible on calls, every person I'm on the phone with complains. That said, I may have caused this in the MIC volume/mixer settings. There is MIC1 and MIC2. Can you tell me what yours are set to and if you have quality problems with Micorophone?

Have you compared the reverse guides that are built into your camera compared to the guidelines on your head unit? I'm using the same device with my factory camera and the reverse guides are way out of scale. I'm tempted to try an aftermarket reverse camera like you have and use its built in guides.

Question, has anyone hooked up rear headrest monitors? I have the video outputs but the video signal isn’t coming up on my headrest monitors. I didn’t know if there’s maybe a setting and or app you need for the unit to send the video out.
@@TonyPazo216 ya my monitors work I connected my rear camera to the rca inputs on screens and it showed so it’s something to do with the video out rca from the head unit and or some settings to send the screen from head unit to headrest monitors. I think it’s software or something.

Hey, nice work. I had installed this radio on my 2012 cruze but I came across an issue with the system sound. Radio app and GPS are OK I get soung playing. But Bluetooth, internal storage, USB and applications are not giving me sound. The screen displays I'm on a phone call or listening to music but I'm not getting audio at all. Did u come across this issue or perhaps have and idea on what to do? Could it be a settings issue? Did I forget to connect a wire or something? Please let me know if u have an answer or suggestion. @@TonyPazo216 thanks for replying . After a replacement unit send by the seller, I was still having the same issue. It turned out the connection diagram was right for the base 2012 cruze but I own a 2012 LT/RS. So whenever I switched from antena to bluetooth or system sound the built-in apm will shut off, because it won't get power at all. We found a way to fix the problem by bypassing directly to the ignition and boom!! I love my stereo now, it has tons of features and the sound is fantastic. Hopefully this hack will help some in case they come across the same issue. Thanks for the video man saty safe!
I bought an android monitor and installed it in my Chevy Malibu car, after 1 month of using it the air conditioner stopped working. When I turn on the car, the air conditioner is working, I can't turn it off, I pressed the power button, but it still didn't turn off.
Ok I think I remember now go in to reverse camera activated and touch on the screen you should see modes or a menu ! Please get back to me if that's it. I gave the car to my daughter she's been driving it so I can't test if that's correct

G'day Tony. I've just installed the same unit as you but I'm having a couple of problems with mine. First problem is the usb port inside the centre console isn't working. I know the cambus is connected properly so I'm wondering if I've missed something as far as wiring goes. Any info on how it should be wired would be appreciated. Second problem is the steering wheel controls won't configure. I saw someone else in the comments had a similar issue. It always says "unable to connect" As I said the cambus is fitted properly. Any ideas ?

So I bought this a couple of weeks ago. However, it doesn't fit in properly at the back?! I think it will only fit if I cut out some of the plastic within the console area but that seems ridiculous! Other tesla-style cruze screen units I've seen video demonstrations of are built slightly different at the back so I think this particular model's design is wrong? Also, can you have navigation work without needing to connect hotspot every time you want to use navigation? Can you pre-download maps or something so internet connection is not always required? Another issue is there is no AM radio only FM. And there is no manual that came with it and no installation video or instructions. Slightly disappointed but perhaps I just need a few tips!
You dont need to cut anything in the dash to make these fit. The box on the back of the screen is held on by 4 screws and can be either moved up or down. I moved mine up to where the old touchscreen was and it fit.

CarPlay needs a dongle to be connected and it will work wirelessly

It’s plug and play very simple!!!! Sounds like something is wrong with your cars wiring or maybe a blown fuse box fuse

Not really! When I installed mines everything already worked. Where did you buy this at?
The directions say to not use the B and C inputs, but the C input on the back of the stereo is for the buttons on the steering wheel

Question, has anyone hooked up rear headrest monitors? I have the video outputs but the video signal isn’t coming up on my headrest monitors. I didn’t know if there’s maybe a setting and or app you need for the unit to send the video out.

@@TonyPazo216 ya my monitors work I connected my rear camera to the rca inputs on screens and it showed so it’s something to do with the video out rca from the head unit and or some settings to send the screen from head unit to headrest monitors. I think it’s software or something.

Hey, nice work. I had installed this radio on my 2012 cruze but I came across an issue with the system sound. Radio app and GPS are OK I get soung playing. But Bluetooth, internal storage, USB and applications are not giving me sound. The screen displays I'm on a phone call or listening to music but I'm not getting audio at all. Did u come across this issue or perhaps have and idea on what to do? Could it be a settings issue? Did I forget to connect a wire or something? Please let me know if u have an answer or suggestion. Thanks in advance.

@@TonyPazo216 thanks for replying . After a replacement unit send by the seller, I was still having the same issue. It turned out the connection diagram was right for the base 2012 cruze but I own a 2012 LT/RS. So whenever I switched from antena to bluetooth or system sound the built-in apm will shut off, because it won't get power at all. We found a way to fix the problem by bypassing directly to the ignition and boom!! I love my stereo now, it has tons of features and the sound is fantastic. Hopefully this hack will help some in case they come across the same issue. Thanks for the video man saty safe!

I bought an android monitor and installed it in my Chevy Malibu car, after 1 month of using it the air conditioner stopped working. When I turn on the car, the air conditioner is working, I can't turn it off, I pressed the power button, but it still didn't turn off.

Ok I think I remember now go in to reverse camera activated and touch on the screen you should see modes or a menu ! Please get back to me if that's it. I gave the car to my daughter she's been driving it so I can't test if that's correct
@@TonyPazo216 got it! I didn’t find a reverse camera setting, it was under “other settings” had “reverse setting (not mute). I was looking under the factory settings forever. Thanks bud! That was driving me insane haha. Just installed it 2 days ago

G'day Tony. I've just installed the same unit as you but I'm having a couple of problems with mine. First problem is the usb port inside the centre console isn't working. I know the cambus is connected properly so I'm wondering if I've missed something as far as wiring goes. Any info on how it should be wired would be appreciated.
Second problem is the steering wheel controls won't configure. I saw someone else in the comments had a similar issue. It always says "unable to connect" As I said the cambus is fitted properly. Any ideas ?

So I bought this a couple of weeks ago. However, it doesn't fit in properly at the back?! I think it will only fit if I cut out some of the plastic within the console area but that seems ridiculous! Other tesla-style cruze screen units I've seen video demonstrations of are built slightly different at the back so I think this particular model's design is wrong?
Also, can you have navigation work without needing to connect hotspot every time you want to use navigation? Can you pre-download maps or something so internet connection is not always required?
Another issue is there is no AM radio only FM.
And there is no manual that came with it and no installation video or instructions.
Slightly disappointed but perhaps I just need a few tips!
I did cut I used sheers to cut the plastic it was not that bad

You dont need to cut anything in the dash to make these fit. The box on the back of the screen is held on by 4 screws and can be either moved up or down. I moved mine up to where the old touchscreen was and it fit.
