Chimpanzee Jambo strolls up to Kibali, flashing his teeth. Kibali, ever the showman, moves the ball while doing a little bounce in front of the Alpha. Afterwards, Kibali sneaks a peek at what's happening overhead. The group eagerly awaits the opening of the dividing doors, their stomachs rumbling in anticipation of the feast on the other side. At the time of filming ( end of April2024 ) there is still no sign of Tommy being integrated.
Jambo, ever the taskmaster, motions for Josie to keep it moving. Meanwhile, Chimp Flynn has a lightbulb moment, realizing he's been camped out in front of the wrong door. With a quick dash, he corrects his mistake, eager to claim his share of the evening snack.
On the other side, everyone digs into their treats. Jambo climbing up that metal pole, taking the sweet potatoes out of his mouth to reach the primate biscuit paste splashed on by the staff. With his hands full of spoils, he descends triumphantly, having also discovered a tantalizing treat toy. Jomar, ever the strategist, attempts to extract his paste from the Kongs.
Jambo went back to the other snack toy, but then threw it to the ground. Ultimately settling on a generous helping of cauliflowers. Ah, the choices of an alpha chimp!
