In this weeks vlog...
We stumble upon an unknown parkup big enough for Stampy AND at my favourite overnight rate - FREE! - Obviously, there were no facilities or power other than what we had onboard.
But EVERYWHERE else was fully booked so this was worth the risk as a base for our Chamonix adventures.
In one day we attempt to conquor not one but THREE Mountains, challenging ourselves mentally and physically to tick off boxes before having to move on, but have we bitten off more than we can chew with three kids and a greyhound in tow?

Beautiful area. We've been up this and got stuck at the top aschhey had a cabke car malfunction. Had to be rescued with 6 at a time being winched down manually. Very scary. But it was amazing at the top.
Wouldn't recommend using bleach however as this was Aug '23' and we are now in April '24' I'm sure you will have worked everything out. I think the heat plays a big part in all the whiffs. We travelled through the Mont Blanc tunnel (that was some queue in scorching heat!). Really wish we had done a cable car though with those views amazing. Looking forward to the next instalment.

Wow!!!!! Incredible views!!!! Breathtaking (literally). You were all very brave standing on the glass floor. They have that at the top of the CN Tower in Toronto but I was too chicken to do it 😂 Purisol or Puriclean is what we use to clean our fresh water tank. Works well.

We use Elsan green organic toilet fluid in both the top and bottom tanks. Much more pleasant aroma to use and very little "waste" smells. Plus the bonus of only having to take one bottle of fluid and not the awful pink/blue stuff.

Hi great video scenery looks amazing, the packet of crisps was funny bet that made a bang when you opened it.😅 as for the smelly sink dilute some soda crystals in warm water and pour it through should do job, plus leave it in tank over night drive around and it should clean that as well.

Make sure you have the sink, shower and wash basin stoppers/plugs inserted to stop smells coming from grey tanks as they dont have ubends to stop this .

I recommend fosse septique sachets [purchased in most supermarkets] only have to pour a small amount into your cassette [not the entire sachet as that is designed for a household tank size], they are bio so break down waste and take away any smells and on the plus side unlike using coke and bleaches less likely to eat the seals on the waste tank.

We’re booked on to equiriels campsite in 6 weeks time and plan to visit the Anguille de midi. Can I ask what the return fare was?
We got the mont blanc multipass for the family which includes all the attractions and buses around the area. It was pricey but two nights of folk staying at our house in England via Airbnb more than covered it.

@@EscapeintheMotorhome thanks for the link. Not as expensive as we feared it was going to be then👍 .incidentally I put Milton in the waste tank, go for a drive then dump. Not had the smelly loo yet.
Hi lovely, hope your all well, i know this video was some time ago but i always use i bit of zaflora disinfectant in the waste tank while the motorhome isn't being used, smells lovely, look forward to new adventures x

@@EscapeintheMotorhome definitely I use it all round the house it's antibacterial and odour neutralising plus smells fab (quite a few scents) dilute it and spray over soft furnishings. Take care Bee x
We use puraclean in our fresh water tank, let it sit for a few hours, then run it through the taps and down all the drains into the waste tank and let that sit before letting it drain away.

For your waste tank, pour 2 litres of coke into the drains and use your grey and drive about before emptying , as for toilet, use two pods, if the toilet is getting heavy use it will need more pods

@@EscapeintheMotorhome yep, cheap Lidl coke is good, something to do with the gas in coke gets rid of the smells. Try not and use bleach as it eats into the plastic piping so not ideal
