Missed a few major players. Lego has a big factory down in Chester that’s creating hundreds of jobs. Amazon is also down there. Costar is a HUGE player in downtown Richmond and will be even bigger once their campus finishes construction. Altria also has a campus on the West End, and did we forget CarMax? It’s down the street of CapitalOne. These are all amazing employers that can be helpful to anyone moving to the area.

I thought the Marlboro company was a very big employer as well. As much as most folks don’t like smoking it’s still a very large company.
